We bought this 2002 Mercedes Benz CL600 sight unseen at SALVAGE auction listed with mystery unknown damage. It has been sitting for nearly 3 years! Will we be able to bring this car back to life? This will be an awesome car to rebuild! This will rival our $850 Mercedes S600 for the most budget V12 ever. Bought a cl600 for 900 bucks with a suspension issue. Turned out to be a ruptured line that ended up fixing for 50 bucks. Car only has 100k miles on it. Absolutely love it

I assume this was a repossessed car and was sold by the bank. P.S. when you start these Mercedes cars you don't hold the key when you turn it in the ignition. When you turn the key let it go as soon as you hear the starter, it will start 😉. Mercedes guy here

When you straight-pipe it, make sure you merge the pipes like I did to my S600. It combines the pulses from the exhaust ports into one to give it a higher-pitched tone.

The CL600 is the most underrated car ever, you got it for an amazing price, those fetch 5-6k, I saw some not such a long time ago at 12k individual leather you can get a 500 for that price, it's the same HP as the CL55. That's a kickass price!

Just got my own CL500 a month ago and it’s in great condition. Only had 75k miles and the same AMG wheels as yours. Only thing is the ABC is starting to act up but I’m going to just do coilovers to save myself the headache when it does eventually go all the way out.
