I have a 09 SRT8. I had a Jeep Patriot which I traded in for it, and the Challenger handles much better than an SUV. Is it a 911? No. But it is a V8 muscle car. This is good, no? Also, you need to remove those skinny 245s they put on and use 275s rear and 255s at least up front. I did and it makes a difference on traction. Good luck with your Challenger.

Yeah SRT seats are awesome, and super comfy. B5 blue is a gorgeous paint and really looks good on it. The 6.1 Hemi cars are my favorite because they're the easiest to mod, and handle boost really well if you ever decide to supercharge it. I like it because they're simple and relatively ez to work on compared to the variable valve timing crap. Congratulations and is a nice car. So are you going to keep it stock, or mod ? They were 50k plus new as well and the invoice on my 2010 was around 55, so they weren't cheap back then

I’ve found a 2009 challenger srt8 with 189,000 miles for $15000 third party dealer runs great, everything works . Am I stupid to think about it 😅 or is it worth it and have the engine rebuilt? Car looks very well kept, clean Title, original parts, clean inside and out .

yeah skip that that’s terrible here’s what you do, you book a flight to atlanta georgia or near their and go to every dealership you’ll find 20 of them i found multiple for 15k with 100k miles

I got one in black, the power specs in euro terms is 431 HP, 580Nm torque and the weight is just about 1,900Kg/1,9 Tonnes

Are you happy with your car😊. I am currently looking for a cool american, looked at Camaro SS, ZL1, Mustang GT 5.0 and GT500, but really like the Challenger, gonna look at one tomorrow, that is a 2011 with the 392 engine, 477 hp. Cheers from fellow Norwegian 😉👍

@@bikerman6907 Du bør nok heller gå for 6.1 Liter’n, er mer åpen for modifisering fordi i 392 motoren så er stemplene svakere fordi de er lagd for å være økonomiske. Hvis man skal øke kreftene på den motoren så er det veldig begrenset hva man kan gjøre. Men hvis du skal beholde bilen standard så er 392 ganske solid, greit drivstoffforbruk og mer enn nok krefter til å ha det moro :)

@@bikerman6907 6.1 literen er mer holdbar i mitt eie, kjørt nesten 18,000km siden februar og har ikke hatt tegn til noe problemer, skifta olje og filter selv. Det er ikke mye som går galt med disse motorene, men har hørt noe om ventil problemer på 6.4 literen, er en holdbar motor hvis alle servicer følges og oljen skiftes ved hver 10,000km eller tidligere.

the RT is a dog compared to the srt8 not that the srt8 is a rocket ship but the 392 is a big difference had all of them, even a hellcat which is ridiculous fast.
