Bro he said the speaker is better than his iphone…… I have my broken one in a shoebox, ts speaker is louder but NOT better ☠️ its not even better than the iphone 6 speakers because the bass was trash, high pitched noises were trash, mids were off sometimes for odd reasons, the speakers maxed out to a trailer of a guy whispering before… Build quality isn’t that good, the back of the phone started cracker because I dropped it like 1 inch onto a wooden desk, the screen cracks on touch with any concrete no matter how hard it hits, screen stopped working randomly and when I put another in the OS was apparently broken too so thats why it’s just sitting in a shoebox If you don’t update the phone within a month it will start giving you ICPU, Mr Clean and all types of ads, it crashes really easily, got hacked out of no where from countless websites including KZbin (thats an android issue though not the phone, this happened on my Samsung multiple times as well), can barely even run KZbin, when I got KZbin Premium it almost died… Battery is good for a certain amount of time, cooling is trash, hz are good but all hz look exactly the same off camera because our eyes don’t see fast enough to tell the difference between 60 and 90 and 140 hz, as you could tell from the video the camera wasn’t very good, fingerprint scanner bugged out if u had the tiniest bit of sweat on ur fingers This is not a very good phone, but if you’re on a tight bugdet I would recommend getting these along with some WIRED skullcandies, bluetooth skullcandies are good but they’re more expensive and have a noticeable delay

i had one (from at&t) it was unlocked when gifted to me, it absolutely hated T mobile towers, i tried 5 T-mo different sims (T-mo direct, red pocket on T, textnow on T) and it would lose service bars after several minutes or hours, no amount of rebooting or APN adjustments would bring the bars back, only putting the sim in another phone for the day and back to the moto, rinse and repeat(not to jerry-rig it as a daily driver, but experimentally). i never figured it out despite making multiple reddit posts, eventually i got someone who thought it was probably bands lacking, since it was for AT. it worked steady for a few months somehow, then i had to retire it. worst christmas gift i've ever gotten.

I've owned several Motorola Android phones, and my only gripe with Motorola is software support, and updates, not updating them longer than a year, or 2, which is why I moved to a Pixel 6a, as I feel 5 years should be the minimum, even HDM aka Nokia does a better job at supporting their Android devices as I have a Nokia T20 tablet released in Oct 2021, & just a few days ago it got 2 major updates for security patches!!

I got the 2023 mode for free, it’s got amazing battery lasts like 9 hours and even longer with it not doing wireless being off, it’s also durable, shortcomings are definitely its camera and screen but the refresh rate is pretty nice and the camera design is I say better than apples, the flashlight placement is so nice and the gestures that use the gyroscope are unlike anything I seen, Lenovo knows what they are doing, if only they got updates

I don't like Motorola doesn't put NFC on its cheaper phones like this one. Many stores now accept contactless pay (Apple Pay, Google Pay & Samsung Pay), so NFC is essential. I also don't like that Motorola only provides one major Android upgrade and 2 years of security patches. The phone isn't obsolete after it's 2 years old

It's not really essential if you have debit card. I have NFC but never use it. Is it so laborious to get your debit or credit card out of your wallet??

7:47 one of my favorite features with my Moto phone is the shaking motions to activate the flashlight and camera, it's really convenient. It's nice to see a Moto phone get some spotlight. I have the Moto G Stylus phone from Boost Mobile and I've enjoyed it for a couple years now, February 2022. I actually got it for free because my old Moto phone was running an outdated 4G network they were no longer supporting and I needed to upgrade to 5G and the Moto phone was one of the upgradable options.

The first step in setting up any Android phone is to uninstall/disable any apps that are useless to you.

Last time I had to send a phone in for warranty repair I needed a phone to use until mine came back. I found a pre-paid Walmart phone with the same carrier (AT&T) for 40 bucks that took the same SIM and uSD card. I plugged my SIM and uSD card in and had a perfectly useable phone for the week I needed it. In my case it was a Huawei but it was still a lot of phone for $40. My tech-snob son made fun of its screen lag compared to his phone and handed it back to me dismissively. I told him it was only $40 and he replied "$40? let me see that again!" Since I never used the pre-paid SIM my plan was to sell it for whatever I could get for it on ebay after I was done with it but I ended up giving it to a teen after a bully broke his old phone.

Those are $100 unlocked. The 2021/2022 ones were great. I find it difficult that you're surprised about this device. Either you dont know anything about phones, I don't know about this channel at all, or you're playing stupid. I hope its just the latter. You're also critisizing things that should be expected on an affordable device like this, seemingly just to have something to say. I don't get it.

I had to laugh when the dude finally comments that Straight Talk is making money off the service. Well, DUH, that has been the American mobile market for a long time. The question for this phone is when can you unlock it, or can you do this at all?

When you pulled out a Motorola, I wasn't at all surprised, I'm currently using a G5 Power 2023 edition, and it's a phone. No really, Lenovo now owns the brand, and like their comptuters, the low end is nothing special, but often a really killer deal. I actually had a version of the phone you tested back in 2018 where it was offered by Cricket under a different name (all their Motos have unique names) as a free phone. Much of the savings comes from using the same parts and software everywhere, that power button fingerprint reader? Same as mine. The Android on that device? The same bone stock Android with Motorola software to customize it. Bodies are usually plastic, basic screens, memory, processor and battery size are basically all that changes from one phone to another.

What sucks is it will not accept a sim card from Verizon or AT&T unless you buy a sim unlock code & costs the same as the phone. No wireless charging support & will not update to the next version of Android. No wireless Android Auto & it works only with the cord plugged in.

I would use this as a game emulator phone. Just games via wireless controller.
