Showing my age here, but the most wanted toys in my Generation were rollerskates,the metal ones with leather straps that you put on over your shoes, Hungry Hippo, Star wars toys(the original ones),Rubiks cubes, care bears, and the one we all wanted aged 10/12, the Original Chopper bicycle with the most painful gearstick ever lol. That's UK toys that u can remember. I also got my beloved Tiny tears in the early 70's.She was my favourite for many years. And i remember sharing a Space Hopper with my siblings. Those things were fun!

i work at amazon and yes there is a rate per-hour and it different per building and there is no incentive for doing more then rate. and they do not have to cut them open that is the job of a decanter they cut open the boxes and pull out the filler in them.

in 83 cabbage patch dolls were the hottest item and very expensive, my son was in the hospital only a month old and they gave them out to the kids. in i think 87 or 88 it was the My Buddy Doll. Amazon story is interesting. Wish we really knew all the secrets of how they do things. One strange thing I noticed on another youtuber channel was that some items seem to END UP IN NEW ATOCK. He ordered duplicate items, one really cheap, other expensive from Amazon to compare them.. Must have ordered maybe under ten items and several of them were USED. Kitchen items with cake mix stuck in them, etc. So returns get checked and sold to flippers, yet, dirty or broken items still end up being shipped out as new? Seems really wrong.

You should see if you have a nearby doll hospital. They'd probably be able to fix it. Or you could diy it & get a donor doll that has a good talking thing but not a good body. Then just switch them out.
