Fantastic. I have a lovely 1938 Swiss pocketwatch, the brand is Review, and was issued to, of all companies, the Turkish Railroad company. It's gorgeous, perfect condition after servicing, loses about 5 seconds per day, 15 jewels hand wind of course. It actually sat in a drawer for 70 years! The face is almost patina free. Absolutely love it. It's great to see someone making a new one!

Pretty cool. Just got into Ball watches, have an engineer 3, marvelight caring edition. Had no idea they made a pocket watch, I think everyone should have a pocket watch (I keep mine under a little glass dome on my desk) and that’s a really cool piece of watchmaking, American horological history, and fashion. Nice pickup! Great review again, nicely done.

Hey Josh, definitely not what I was guessing haha, but an excellent choice! That movement was decorated beautifully and to be hidden with the caseback lets you know it's not about showing it off as a statement piece but commitment to their quality of work. BALL is definitely on my radar thanks to you so I will have to look at which one I'd consider getting...maybe a GMT! Great review and enjoy the watch! Also, that Invicta inspired wrist shot was 🔥! 😎🍻👍

It is a little deceptive, typically pocket watches are larger but this one is quite small for what it is! Did you see my wrist shot with it?😅

The original Ball was not a manufacturer of watches. Ball had set a standard. He was oversaw the inspection of railroad workers watches. As for the watches under his name, they were produced by Waltham, Elgin, Hamilton and possibly others to Ball’s spec and standard.

Hey! You really seem to love Ball watches. Why not do some comparisons between them? Ball has a vast menagerie of different watches not only in classifications but within the same areas of class. Sometimes to the point that sorting through the varied specs can become confusing. Also I don’t think I ever saw Ball watches compared with each other, saw a couple of videos comparing them to other watches of different brands, but never among themselves. That might be helpful and sorting them out.
