If you don’t want the handles to pop out constantly while filming or working on it you can just temporarily turn off your phone’s Bluetooth. I did some sound deadening around the dash speaker grille and behind the a-pillar trim. It had a few annoying rattles when we got it. I also realigned a couple of panels to my liking. Easy to fix myself, and I trust my work and attention to detail more than almost any service tech. That goes for any car, not just Teslas. It’s worth mentioning that my issues with this car were no worse than basically any other brand vehicle I’ve bought. I always go around all my vehicles with a fine-toothed comb and fix little things like those, even brand new ones.

Beautiful Plaid!!! Put PPF on it before Ceramic coating. The Model S is my favorite Tesla. I am on my second Model S 2015 85D and upgraded to 2020 Performance. I love it. what I can't figure out is why the S still has quality control issues. it has been in production since 2012. I'm wanting a Plaid with yoke myself. once again congratulations!!!

Looks great! We bought a white on white Plaid nearly three months ago right after the sport seats became available. We’ve been loving it, and it’s a perfect daily driver IMO. Quiet, comfortable, fast as hell, and a lot of bang for the buck at the current pricing. I ordered a Hansshow power open/close frunk kit for $450ish. I haven’t put it in yet but will love that when it’s done. I’ll use the frunk way more if I don’t have to push it closed and feel that give in the hood under my hands. 😖 Until you get the new wheels, pop those aero covers off of the 19s and they’ll look pretty nice. The covers make a negligible range difference. Get some rear camber arms or the shims and get a good alignment. The stock setup chews the inside of the rears to pieces. You can also run it on default low ride height without hurting the tires after fixing the alignment more for street use. Enjoy it!

Those Plaids are the truth. It's funny how a $90 thousand dollar family sedan can smoke those million dollar super/hyper cars in a straight line. I mean sure if i had to much money its a no brainer but not sure its worth the cost, its double ot M3P and the new M3P is pretty sweet, looks nicer and get a ton of goodies like more silent, better bumper etc. What to do :D ?

Love it but concerned about the tires wear. Can you confirm how many miles you get with them? I heard less than 10k that like changing your oil 😢

That is coming from owners with the 21 inch wheels, that drive in the low suspension setting from what I've seen. I have no wear issues at the moment, tires look great.

It's hard to go back to gas when you experience the instant torque, that dual-motor hp, and the lack of engine noise. There's no transmission or engine to maintain. Mobile service will come to the house for minor repairs. I recommend 19" wheels for ride comfort. Mind you the Ford Mach E GT is damn good too.

Congrats man. A $150,000 car is not easy to obtain by most people. That’s literally the #1 fastest car in the world. It’s even faster than multi million dollar cars like Ferraris, Lambos, McLarens, and Bugattis. Huge accomplishment 👍

That Plaid nor any Plaid in 2024 is $150K. It starts at $89,990 and if you choose every option available you’ll come out at just under $110k. In 2021, they were that expensive but Tesla started dropping the price in late 2022. Also, it is no longer the fastest “production” car in the world even in the EV space. Two other EV’s are faster, the Rimac Nevera and the Lucid Air Sapphire. There are videos all over KZbin confirming this so you might want to brush up on your research. Also the Bugatti Super Sport will destroy the Plaid AFTER the quarter mile. These are FACTS.
