I hope you didnt over pay, I was looking at a taylor Morrison new builds in Naperville IL and they were cheaply made. Everything was basic and outdated styles. The prices should have been $400k range, but they wanted over $600k. During the duration of our custom home build, the prices of their new builds kept dropping like a rock. I would never recommend Taylor Morrison builders because of that. Greedy turds!!!

When you buy a house, or even rent one, it does not normally come with washer, dryer or refrigerator. You get to pick those out. I was surprised that rental homes didn't include those.

@@norcalovenworks as a woman who made good financial decisions, except choice of partner, I bought a house 3 years before marriage. He could not come up with his half of the down payment despite living at MY apartment for 4 years prior where I paid all the rent and all the utilities. Despite earning more than me. I made the 1st house payment. I made sure all the payments were never late. I continued making all utility payments for another 3 years while also saving money for the big wedding HE wanted I just wanted to go to city hall He made me pay for the whole wedding too, both wedding bands the honeymoon, everything. And still he managed to steal my paid off home, all the cars, my furniture (vast majority was mine) all my inheritance, gifts to me, my clothes and shoes I highly suggest you learn everything about your finances that you can. Both parties need to know everything, budget, investments, goals, where the money is going, is there debt. You can't trust only one person with something this important. How can you be on the same page if you have no clue about your shared finances? Are you both saving for retirement? I am currently living in my car at 65, no idea if my children are alive. I know they're not safe because he's an addict
