Good luck with the RR Evoque My wife has a 2019 pre-facelift HSE dynamic Lux. with the absolute shite ingenium engine. before it had done 40,000 miles had a timing chain. Turbo. Head gasket. Seatbelt and clasp. Two broken front springs. Two key fobs. A transfer case leaking oil. A thermostat and thermostat housing. And now it’s going back to Range Rover again tomorrow because none of the doors lock and the alarm won’t set because the drivers door latch isn’t registering the door being closed. All of these faults I’m told by more than one Range Rover dealer are common faults with this car. I even had a dealer told me if you ever buy one get rid of it before the warranty runs out. biggest piece of shit ever good luck to you getting a decent price for your car because her car isn’t even worth 10 grand Now.

It's a 2013 with the better 2.2 diesel engine. Not the 2.0 with all the problems after 2015.

Worked in the retail motor trade for many years most of that we had Land/Range Rovers as half our stock but later on stopped selling them as the prep costs were massive and when you sold it the warranty come backs were the same. You think you’ve had a good margin out of it but minus the prep, warranty and VAT out of the equation and it was hardly worth it !

That Score from vehicle score is totally detached from reality. Ive noticed lots of issues with the overall score on cars ive checked. Basically its worthless its just a arbitrary number

Another reason why auction prices go higher when it's quiet (sales side) is the need to keep money spinning and bill's paid. Buying in the belief that more (or different) stock will equal a sale. It's kind of like buying for the sake of buying. A car dealer in my hometown. Show's up every week to the local auction and buy's something just so other local dealers don't think he's having issues with sales. Buying something just so they think the money is flowing. He's been caught out a few times with some proper lemon's because he's let the bid run away and kept putting his hand up for it.

Best colour in my opinion Joe, I had a new one in 2016 in Firenze Ref with a black roof. Shifted it before the warranty ran out with 22k on the clock. Lots of issues with the car early on. 😡

I used to sell cars and yes you can buy cheap from auction but overall you need to factor in the cars you lose on. Some come with expensive problems.

I owned a new one for a couple of years - sold in 2022. It was actually a really nice car - and reliable. Only issue was a weird cracking on the plastic of the rear light - replaced twice under warranty - otherwise faultless. Boot was a decent size for the size of car too. Build quality was v good and over the air software updates were brilliant. Only sold it to go electric and Land Rover didn't have an EV option at the time. Depreciation was pretty good too....

How long is the 'Dealer Warranty' in the UK on used cars? Here in Au (NSW) its 3 months or 5000 km but only for cars with less than 100,000 mi and less than 10 years old. Outside if that it's nothing.
