Very interesting, I can apply it in salt water, I usually pick it up by lifting the rod several times upwards with small touches and with minnow lures from yo zuri and it has been the most effective against barracudas, snappers, makarel and jacks

I bought the exist knock off and it’s definitely not on the level of a budget name brand not even close! But having said that it’s low retrieval rate and fairly loud drag clicker make it a good light live bait reel for estuary fishing or working soft baits close to the bottom. It’s also half the price of temu on ali express for the Same reel here in oz anyway! It’s line lay is good and it casts well too! Not bad for $34! An aird or Sedona is a far better choice long term if on a budget though! I just buy the cheap ones because I can! Ultimately they are a false economy as they won’t last like a budget abu,shimano,daiwa or penn!
