The whole experience is so fun! I cut out the story about making pizzas for my friend’s bachelorette party. 12 gals, 20-ish pizzas, we had a whole production line going on. It was a hoot!

I like the quality of *Breville* products. *Solo* Pi outdoor pizza ovens are also nice. Thanks for this excellent, in-depth review. I _love_ your cooking!

Haven't seen this beast in action yet...hint, hint... LOL Impressive work with that peel! It looks like a hard-to-perfect skill.

I just want to see you eat and enjoy your pizza creations!😎🫵🏻✌🏻 But yeah, make some more pizza! Can you do cauliflower crust pizza?🤪👋🏻
@HowToMakeDinner2 ай бұрын
I think cauliflower crust would work if I used the pan! I did a GF crust in there and it worked great.

Pizza - #1 is the dough. #2 is the assemblage of suitable toppings. #3 is the cooking - personal opinion. Choosing an oven? gawd, what a tough ask!

This looks pretty slick for sure! How's the cleanup/maintenance on it?
@HowToMakeDinner2 ай бұрын
I just give the stone a little dust/scrape and leave the rest alone! Occasionally wash it with soap and water but generally everything kinda burns off!

You Pay it back by ensuring you have full control of all ingredients. No Space , get a strong trolley to push it in and out. Of course if you are a handyperson.. you COULD get a used commercial Single Deck Pizza Oven that can go up to 400C (752 F) All of them are heavy and costly because of the special fiberglass insulation to keep the oven casing heat under control.

Nice review. Can you comment of the burn marks on the front face of the oven as you open the door? Is that just from normal pizza making? It's at the 8:04 mark.
@HowToMakeDinner8 күн бұрын
Yep those happen almost immediately. It’s a lot of heat! I haven’t tried removing them yet because it doesn’t really bother me but I’ll follow up if I do!

@@HowToMakeDinner I found a reference on Garmin's website site that informs that one can use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to clean those marks. I'm still comparing the Pizzaiolo against the Ooni Volt. I did not notice these burn stains on the Ooni. What I do like about the Pizzaiolo is the two-piece heating element on top, allowing one to fine tune the outer edges of the crust.

Paula, I love the video but you missed a golden opportunity to describe the size of the pizza oven in pizza boxes 😂 Kinda want one!
@goldencalf51442 ай бұрын
I got the cheaper Cuisinart pizza oven. Unfortunately the top doesn't get hot enough for leopard spotting on the crust. Maybe I should have saved up for the Breville

I love that pizza dough. It’s so delicious chewy but soft. Can you freeze pizza dough?
@HowToMakeDinner2 ай бұрын
Yes!! I haven’t tried it yet but I have bought frozen dough balls in the past. I think I’d freeze it after dividing it into dough balls, but before the 2nd proof.

How long does it take after cooking a pizza for it to come back up to temperature?
@Dumbarton20112 ай бұрын
I don’t think it’s really smoke per se that’s released but more of a steam

Seems to me that the cost of the pizza oven is money well spent!

I think so too! As long as it holds up for years to come!
