Jeremy & George, Just thought I would give you some insight on what the green cap was that you had found in the unit. The small green cap with CC on it was a Freshman cap from Purdue. A “freshman cap” is a cap that seniors made freshman’s wear. Dating way back this was a thing. The button on top of the cap once distinguished what major department you were in later going with all green. The CC represented Cary Club which is the student organization of Cary Quad (all male residence hall). Just thought it would be nice to shed some light on its history.
