Oh my goodness you showed a set off freshwater pearl jewelry with gold beads in a white/cream colored case. It looks exactly like the set my husband bought me for Christmas many years ago. I loved that set, but the necklace broke years ago & I lost most of the pearls so I was unable to have it repaired. My husband Gordon died 2 years ago & if there were any way I could buy that set from you for a reasonable price, it would mean the world to a lonely old lady.

Guys, I love you, but I suggest you bring two campstools and a low table to save your backs, a knife, the eyeloop magnifier to see the jewelry, and even a battery operated camplight. For a snowbird, would Florida be more of a vacation home than a longer residence. I would think their most valuable items be at home or when gone, put in a safe or safe deposit box. For the fun and sun at the beach, maybe costume jewelry would be as good and shiny. The expensive things for that special night out, they bring and take back home to NY. And being a tourist, one might be afraid to be robbed.

You need to bite the bullet & buy a rainbow vacuum cleaner. The debris goes in the water basin, not anywhere near the motor. I renovate houses & am always stripping some piece of furniture. You can even vacuum up sheetrock dusk & plaster bits. My rainbow is 21 yrs old. I used my sister’s before I got one. She renovates houses too. These vacuums are SUPER pricey but worth it.
