Most people thought the 3D feature was pretty gimmicky. I do own a NEW 2DS XL and love it. Great modded for playing games from memory card and as a portable emulation system.

Well, it came in a box. The refurbished regular 3DS XL I got years ago came in a branded ziplock. Aside from that, it did look great and it works still (I threw it in the back of the closet years ago after I got the 2DS XL, but it works fine still).

That 3ds is beautiful! I've actually never seen this one opened before. I have the blue 3ds xl which is now over 6 years old and still holding up fairly well I just had to replace my circle pad recently and get a new battery :)

The best bet when the slot is unresponsive like that is to turn the device off, put rubbing alcohol on the cartridge's pins, and move it in and out a few times to clean the connector.

I've literally tried getting 1 of these 3ds xl nes edition's for the past week straight. I bid on one and then last minute my page kept refreshing when I pressed place bid and I lost it. Then I bid on another one same thing happened. Then I looked for about an hour straight and finally found the perfect 3ds xl. The original one I was gonna get had a chip taken out of it and it was all scratched and smudged. Guy got it for $260. Second one was $240 and guy got it. It had lots of scratches and the analog stick needed replaced. I got a beautiful near mint 3ds XL NES edition for $210. It also came with Pokémon ultra sun and a charger. I could not have asked for a better deal. It has nothing wrong with it, Not even a scratch or mark on it. Sadly no box though. Let's hope USPS can deliver it to me with zero damage and have me feeling like a little 13 year old once again. Ik it sounds corny. This is my first time with a 3ds xl since it came out. My brother ended up pawning mine for cash cuz it had just came out and he needed money cuz he lost his wallet. I'm super hyped to have this.

These have been very hard to come by as Nintendo doesn’t sell them anymore or even make them as they are discontinued but I got lucky and ended up ordering a new Nintendo 3ds xl black blast from the past bundle that had 6 games include on sale which was a steal I’m exited about that had to snag it before it was too late 👍

I just bought a original Nintendo 3ds from a pawn shop for $60 came with 2 3ds cases a extra stylus and screen protectors and it was in good condition this was the only 3ds I could find for cheap and with the eshop closing I got it. Honestly the screens on mine look way clearer then I expected

I have the link between worlds special edition 3ds xl (the gold one, I think it came out in 2013) and can confirm that it’s also slow as hell. I still play it all the time and love it, even though I have a switch. There’s just something that can’t beat the feel of a ds. The 3d does hurt my eyes after a while so I turn it off when playing for extended periods (I think it gives me more battery life too with 3d off)

As a proud owner of this specific edition console, I will say that the top screen bezel is the wrong color. The original bezel is more of a gray-ish color.

Here in Romania 3ds consoles are cheap. I bought a blue pokemon x and y edition for 100 bucks in good conditions and saw an yoshi edition for 110 bucks in perfect conditions

This is why Im glad I bought my 3ds on offer up.. I got it for $125 with 3 games, and a case

If you ever do get a 3DS XL, I highly recommend it. I got mine back in 2014 when I was nine and I still play it today. Even though i have dropped it many times, it still is in great conditions. So the Nintendo 3DS XL should last you at least seven or more years. If you enjoy gaming on the go the 3DS XL is a must.

If you mean the games, ds consoles haven't had that issue since the ds lite. The ds lite was the last console that required the game be inserted while shut off.

I love it but to me it's not really worth it since I already have two 3dss' and the only difference is a paint job. I have a blue 3ds xl mario kart 7 edition, and a galaxy new 3ds xl. I can't see me dropping another $150 for the same thing just with a different paint job. Good on you though enjoy!!
