Actually gamestop didn't do any refurbished job to their item. Gamestop only buy and sell the defective items. The people who behind for those refurbished work was on a third-party. Game stop will contract some company or group or people to refurbished the item.

I’ve had my used GameStop ps4 for 5 years and it works just fine. It’s going to carry me all the way to the next gen. Also if it was messed up, couldn’t you just take it back and ask for another one?

I absolutely loved the design of the original launch PS4. The faceplates were real cool and the system was already really slim and lightweight. The PS4 Pro design was a big letdown, but still loved the power of the Pro.

When connecting the PS4 controller for the first time you need to turn on the PS4 first, then connect the controller with the USB cable. But great choice with the UT console. 👍

I bought a gamestop refurb ps4 llike 2 years ago because I wanted one right at that moment, and had the intention of taking it back before the 7 days was up. I still have it now, and its worked great the entire time. Its been played heavily on demanding games. The fan started getting loud, so I cleaned it out, and redid the thermal paste about a week ago. Its back to quiet as a new one. Only issue its had was when my cat knocked it off a dresser. It broken the controller antenna, but I soldered it back on and it was fine.

I bought the Uncharted new and it is a great looking console. I do have to ask you sounded surprised that they opened it up with the back screws but they Always do that with refurbished consoles. Its how they clean it and fix it.

While I was going to go the refurburshed route. For a ps4... Only the original and the pro have the optical out. For my surround sound receiver. So I waited till finally I got a decent deal. One month old ps4-pro. With controller 4 games. New 7200 series too. All for $280. Receipt box everything. Very happy. To get the pro for that price

I bought my Playstation 4 Slim 500gb back in May 2019 from Walmart for $279 dollars for a NEW system. Plus there is the fact I knew I least had a full year of warranty from Sony them selfs if something would happen to the console. When I was shopping for the PS4 I did look at a pre-owned console from Gamestop. But then I seen the price they are asking for a pre-owned Playstation 4 Slim 500gb which was $269 dollars at the time. At that point I said why not spend the extra $10 dollars and get a NEW system from Walmart. As of this post I just looked on Gamestop website I think they are crazy for still asking that kind of money for a pre-owned console. Cause in like 7 months from now the Playstation 5 will be out unless all this COVID-19 crap is still going on. At that point I don't see them selling PS4 like they are now.

One of the best if not probably one of the top rated Action Adventure franchises ever on Playstation. Last of Us is also sweet as well. I thought Neil Druckmann did a awesome job directing it and producing U4 once Amy Henning left.
