This is where I am super happy with my 250cc’s power. I also own a 650cc Suzuki motorcycle, which I love, but I hate it for city commuting because of all the shifting that is required. I doubt the Navi will bring in very many new riders. Most first time riders will probably change their mind when they find out what the price REALLY is, and those that choose to pay it anyway are not going to forget how they were ripped off by Honda. In my state, buying used is the only way to go. There is no sales tax on used vehicles, so whatever you pay for it is ALL you pay for it. No taxes, no hundred/thousands of $$$ in bogus fees. Honda COULD have used the Navi to bring a lot of first time buyers back for bigger more expensive bikes, but they chose to rip off the customer for all they could get to begin with. It's obvious they don't care about returning customers and referrals.

How does this compare to the genuine rough house 50?
@nemanjatosovic2 жыл бұрын
I think the roughhouse is built better, it feels a bit more premium. Obviously the roughhouse is a scooter where as the Navi is a hybrid. Seating position is different so generally the Navi is a bit more fun to ride because of the seating position but the roughhouse I think feels a bit nicer and being a two stroke sounds much cooler. The Navi is a bit faster, it has double the capacity, but not by much, maybe 7-8 mph however sometimes that makes a lot of difference. The roughhouse is more practical as you get under seat storage and a flat foot board. If I lived in a small beach town where the speed limit never exceeds 35 I’d get the RH, if I needed a bit more too end I’d get the navi.
@kevinswann12512 жыл бұрын
I have a 2022 Roughhouse 50. Was derestricted at dealership. Then added a Malossi 70cc bore kit, 19mm Malossi carb and Malossi exhaust. I've put 1,000 miles on it and I've had zero problems... If you have these mods done, you will need to add extra oil in the gas. Usually a couple ounces per fill up. It has an automated oil dispenser but it's set up for a stock 50cc. I do love this scooter! Excellent build quality!
@pleasedontwatchthese95939 ай бұрын
I have owned both. The navi is much better and built much better. The service intervals are lower in the navi and it's 4 stoke unlike the buddy that's 2 stroke. @nemanjatosovic2 жыл бұрын
A lot of the price differences you see are due to taxes and registration fees varying state by state, on top of that some dealers just add on BS fees. Where are you located, ask the dealer to break down the otd price. If they’re charging you 700 for set up, skip them. In Illinois, a fair price is between 2500-2800 depending where you’re located. At 2500 your basically paying no fees other than freight and at 2800 you’re paying a fee hundred for set up.

First of all, I don't consider Honda a reputable company. At least not any more. Their products are made in Thailand, China, and in the case of the Navi, it is made in India and assembled in Mexico. Honda's bikes are no longer made in Japan. Then there are the dealers. Or should I say STEALERS. When a stealer is charging $1000-$2000 over msrp, that is basically theft. I almost bought a Navi, until I discovered what the stealers were selling them for. I could get a used but like new Grom or Super Cub for that. And 50 mph will not do it in most cities. I live in Phoeniz, AZ, and while the speed limit on most city streets is 45 mph, idiots go 55-60 mph on those streets. And if you don't have decent acceleration, you are likely to get run over from behind when leaving a stop light.
