Great to see you back! Congratulations on the house too! All looks to be going well for you 😁 look forward to seeing the renovations in upcoming videos x

You really seem to have got your act together now and have a much more positive outlook about where you are going. I absolutely love Hua hin and just spent three months there. I’m 60 so I blend in perfectly. There is no boat to Pattaya - but why would you want to go there anyway? I’m guessing the buy price was around b500k at most. It looks like it has potential but I’m not sure it’s worth all the effort to turn it into two apartments. Make it into one reasonable home and then try short term rentals. If it doesn’t work, flip it and try again.

It is a nice home. It just needs a little TLC. But I can live there full time while I fix or renovate it long term.

Hiya. Great to see you. I have lots of subs. But views on videos do not do the same. And like yourself. Working and life can get busy. And editing takes an age. Good luck with the Thai. Congratulations on your new home. Good luck finding another dog. I want a friend for Buddy. But I need a bigger house. Your future plans sound fantastic. And all you are going to do with your home. I would not have a clue what you paid. Lol. Great video. Exciting times. Wishing you a great week.

Hi there. Maybe you should try to interview the local Thai people ( the ones with good English) and let us hear how they live .how they work.how they survive. Thanks for the video

@@gbtedx1157 Not sure about other Western countries, but here in the United States you would have to pay tax on rental net profits and on capital gains when selling regardless of if the property were in a corporation or just held as an individual.

I reckon about 1.5 million baht.. given the location.. I don't know if you have any experience in the building industry but, the external doors that are fitted IE the smaller doors are internal grade really is so an upgrade is required. As for the insulation I agree try and fit as much as possible but, it will have limited effect due the general construction of the building.mas in single glazing and single skin walls but, everything helps..good luck.

How difficult is it to find a place to rent with a pet dog? We have a big boxer but he's trained like a champ.

Hi, each landlord has their own rules but I have to admit it can be difficult. During covid it was much easier and most people on my street now have pets but now things are back to normal you might struggle. Good luck though! 🤞

Unfortunately, life's has become super busy for me the past weeks so i couldn't really watch much vlogs anymore. I actually only watched the first 3 mins. of this. And of course, my primary support goes to the foreign youtubers vlogging here in PH coz they help promote tourism in our country. (We're World Travel Awards' World's Leading Beach and Dive Destination again btw.) Honestly, the only reason i watched yours is because you and your furbaby are both cute, lol. And you remind me of someone... Anyway, i notice furbaby is limping a bit. I know she has a degenerative condition. I just hope she's not in too much pain. Anyway, Merry and Blessed Christmas to you and your fam! 🎄✝🎄

Can I buy a house like this in Thailand as a retiree? I think Thai government should let expats buying properties in bad shape like this and live and NOT RENT so they can improve or renovate or fix the house and make the area nice in general.

Its a shame how they gave so little garden with all that land at the back .Its common practise though throughout Thailand .I am guessing you paid B3M for it but i am not familiar with Samui prices .My experience is with Chiang mai .

How did you manage to own the land and the house without using a Thai partner's name? Your dog is lovely, however are his legs arthritic or is it something else that is wrong with them?
