Brilliant. My dad had one of these in the eighties. I bought an RM250 motocross bike and I used to load the bike on the back to get to places to ride the bike. The Suzuki pickup was ace to drive

Please cover the seats and get the bottom thoroughly coated in clear waxoyl or lanoguard as British winters are gonna take hold and turn it to sh1t, I have a rare Suzuki X-90 that's been off the road about 5 years and rusting away because it needs work attention money and tlc thrown at it, I wish id protected the 80s seats waxoyl'd and more back then...
@SamVBikesАй бұрын
I've got some Lanoguard seal downstairs, raptor coat for the bed and some seat covers on the way! I've seen what the salted roads can do to my bikes so I'm not risking it with this beaut! I've got some XCP rust blocker too for the bikes which I'll probably coat the engine and metal components in too! Like you say, can't be too careful

Hi Sam, great purchase! When my brother was doing his house, he went back to brick and ripped out the ceilings so lots of tip trips. He bought a LWB Ex military series 3 Land Rover for the purpose. It costs much less than multiple skips!
@SamVBikesАй бұрын
Thank you mate! It's a great idea isn't it! A few trips to the recycling plant are so easy. The looks you get loaded up too is hilarious
@michaelmclarney1994Ай бұрын
@@SamVBikes brilliant idea mate! I was wondering if the Adventure would fit diagonally? You're right, this would make a great base for a camper, especially if it was long enough to sleep in the flat bed. The possibilities are endless!
@SamVBikesАй бұрын
In theory the SAS should fit straight in.. it's a 6.5ft bed and the bike is apparently just over 5ft long. I'll have to try it and let you know haha! There are so many possibilities for it and I can't wait!

Congratulations on bagging a mint example! Absolute unit of a vehicle, hereby dubbed The Monkeh Express. Or maybe the Bonobo Bus? 🤔 Begin customisations immediately please, we need more videos. Also, is it RWD when not running 4WD or can you only donut in reverse?
@SamVBikesАй бұрын
Thank you very much! Haha customisation is well under way! Already looking at lift kits and chunky wheels! It's RWD when it's running on 2... which means skids! (In the snow because it doesn't have enough power to spin the wheels)

Awesome!! :D Reminds me of the late 80s Suzuki Alto (you might need to google that! ;) - also a tripple, might be the same engine), that my wife's first car was, that I used to love terrorising people with.. ;) :D The torque for the size of the engine was fantastic, and the low weight of the car meant it was a traffic light grand prix winner on most occasions... ;) :D 796cc/41bhp of rip roaring JDM goodness... ;) :D :D Top choice Sam, I WANT one now... ;) :) :D ( ( think it could JUST about nudge 80mph on a good day ;) )
