Great choice on a great kayak, only one suggestion and it’s a must have no brainer. Get a Trailer! Just about anything will do but you’ll find out soon it’s not an option but a necessity. The endless loading and unloading the kayak and gear 4 times for each trip is a nightmare and cuts down drastically on the enjoyment of why you bought it in the first place. These fishing kayaks are heavy and cumbersome. Great Kayak !

I got same color just a few weeks ago. I'm starting out like you...keeping it fairly simple and see what I really need. The outback has so many features that it handles just about everything I need. I got a rod holder for. the front and that's about the only accessory for now. Nice video. Thanks!

Real nice purchase, Wish you a lot of luck. Also in the beginning loved the use of the new Insta360 X3 in drone mode. Clearly it will add a lot of great shots in your vids.

Congrats on your new yak! Fishing Online will have all the stuff you will need to get on the water. PFD, whistle, Light/Flag for the stern, anchor, ect. You made the right move buying a quality kayak out of the gate. Will you be registering it or are you going with a launch permit? If you end up putting a trolling motor on it at some point you will then need to register it just like any other boat. Enjoy!

My wife and I have been fishing from the outback for a long time. I love them from crappie fishing in 2' of water to offshore in Navare Beach in Florida for red snapper. It's an all around kayak for anything you want to fish for. The pro angler is just too heavy for us. For some reason, you had to do way more assembly than we did. Also, you may want to invest in some waterproof tackle boxes...trust me

Recommend a cheap fish finder like the Garmin Striker 4 - easy to mount and I can’t imagine fishing without it!

A cheap and simple fishfinder is the deeper fishfinder . It is more a mobile fishfinder they have also a holder for boat.

Good point. I may go with something basic. Even just knowing water temps and depth can be really helpful.
