My Friend BOUGHT the FASTEST HYPERCAR IN THE WORLD! The Hamilton Collection's RIMAC NEVERA

There's fast, and then there's Rimac Nevera fast, and I've never experienced anything like it! I'm with @TheHamiltonCollection in Chicago, where Steve has added some new additions to the garage also including a Koenigsegg Regera. Let's get out on the road, and have some fun!
When I last visited Steve and the team, only around 6 months ago when in Chicago to install PPF on my Mustang Dark Horse, the garage was in a big process of change with some cars having departed ahead of a few big new arrivals, some of which have now touched down! In fact, two megacars in the form of the Nevera and Regera; both of which are extraordinary demonstrations of the latest technology. However, having been lucky enough to drive the Koenigsegg on a number of occasions, it's the full EV hypercar I'm intrigued to check out today.
The Rimac Nevera boasts 4 electrics motors hooked up to a 120kWh battery pack with a total power output of 1,914hp and 2,360Nm; so it goes without saying it quite literally breaks your neck under full acceleration. As we head out on the road with Steve at the wheel, a few demonstrations of what the Nevera can do and it quickly becomes apparent this is a genuine workout for the body with the g-forces afoot.
After the first drive, we're also then rolling deep for a convoy out to lunch, and there's no holding back with a line-up like this!

What are you going to do, floor it every time you're at a stop sign or the first one at a light? Speed is cheap and easy these days. The most enjoyable cars are those which make you work for it.

Ever hear of those claims that electric cars chew through tires at a much higher rate than gas cars do? Well they’re bogus, because they only look at the experience of performance EV owners who floor their cars all the time, and they don’t look at the myriad of commuter EV owners who have no issues with tire longevity. But what these observations do show is that performance EV drivers have a hoot driving their cars fast all the time.

What I love about the Nevera is that the sound in the cabin is the natural sound of the car, and it sounds unique and incredible... like a jet getting ready for launch. So you really feel the more visceral connection to it and none of that artificial sound or commonly no sound.

Incredible performance! For a nation so small with no real automotive history, it is really something & we so very proud of Mate! @5:17 I’m a similar age to Steve and I can say the Viper poster was on my walls too. I also reread so many articles about it in Motor Trend and such back in the day. I was lucky enough to be able to purchase one a couple years back (newer generation, but same thing basically). I still have some videos of doing donuts in the Viper on my YT channel (until I went overboard and tire caught on a slight fire and popped….lol). Super fun car!
