I personally wouldn't spend this much on designer items, but I find it totally out of order that people have the guts to make her feel bad about it. It's HER money which she worked for and you can't blame her for all the bad things going on in the world. Only because she has a bigger income than the average person, it doesn't mean she has to donate a bunch of money to charity. Her money, her choice! If she bothers you so much go and work your ass off and then you can donate your own money but don't walk around and tell people what to do with their lives!

i think the "problem" is that it doesn't look like she works. Since she doesn't have a conventional job which requires sitting 8h a day in front of a computer or something like that, it doesn't look like she works "hard". i kind of get why people could "hate" on her, but i agree that she can do with her money whatever she pleases.

I disagree with any 'starving children' comment on here. yes we are all aware of worldly issues and we all give back in our own ways but Lydia has been putting in the WORK and deserves every single item she owns. Business aside, she also radiates positivity and it's clearly blessed her with non-matierlistic gifts like wonderful friends and family :) She's my inspiration for sure. Lydia talks all the time about giving to charity (not that it matters, it's her hard earned money to do with as she wishes). I'm so bored of the negativity, if people don't like it, don't watch!

Hannah, I couldn't have said it better myself! Anyone deserves and has the right to give themselves a nice item or two, or even three at a time. There is no wrong in doing so. She works hard and loves hard, and that is the real reward. Her friends and family around her are her gifts in life and a loving support group. Everyone needs to understand that people give back in their own way, wether it is direct or indirect. Lydia, you have no idea how big of an inspiration you have been in my life. Just because I am a guy in the USA does not mean I cannot love fashion just as much as nature. I am a biology major and a history minor after all. Your positivity that radiates on your channel reaches around the globe, and I know I am not the only one to receive it, so thank you. Remember to keep on smiling and laughing! I love you! I've been subscribed for a while now and love all your videos! I most likely will never be able to afford some of the items you purchase, but that's never bothered me at all, and instead I take inspiration from your style and try to find similar items within my own price range. I can't understand these people trying to drag you down or make you feel guilty for how you spend your money. I hope you never let it effect you as it is clearly just jealousy on their part!

I love the color of the SJP shoes. I am a sucker for those muted blues...well all blues. The bright colors suit you really well! When I worked in the city where I live my heels would get stuck in those sidewalk grates. I learned - if you cannot avoid them... - to lean more on the ball of your foot and take pressure off the heel. But dont be obvious about it haha. I am not a shoe person at all but I do need a nice pair of black heels for work. Enjoy your new shoes!

Those shoes are beautiful! I am tempted to buy the Nadira style for my graduation. I would love if you did a video about your favorite basics, your favorite pieces of clothing, and your favorite brands to shop for specific items. (I watch all your videos and you always share the items you are loving, but it would be nice to have a dedicated video or videos.) I have cheap things that work for years without issues and look just as good! Gorgeous shoes! I also love the Hangisi in the aqua , and Giraldi in what Harrods call purple, but it looks more grey/mauve to me on the website. SO beautiful ... also, on the MB website, there is the Hangisi in stripe, with bright yellow embellishment on the toe. No idea what I'd wear them with, but oh my GOSH, they're lovely! Not that I've been scouting, or anything ;)

Omg they're all amazing! I do really love the bright, vivid colors though. I thought I spotted a bright green pair in one of your Instagram pics and nearly died lol.
