You should check out mighty car mods , they just did a turbo install on their kei truck. Basically the same vehicle with a 3 cylinder engine

I was hoping you would get to one of these! I've had a 93 Carry for a couple years. 5 speed with Dif lock. 24K original miles Have 2" lift 300lbs springs and running 25x10 Tusk terra bites. the Terra bites are D.O.T. It is a great little truck. love it! Really looking forward to this build.

When you are running this be careful using 4 wheeler tires on the road. They are unsafe to do so because they weren't designed to dissipate heat and can blow with no warning. My wife would love one of the van version of these. I look forward to seeing what you will be doing to this one. I enjoyed the work you did installing the diesel into the green truck.

As much as I love traditional 4x4 pick-ups, a cab-over/bulldog offers is the most efficient design, you get the bed of a traditional pick-up with 3/4ths vehicle length and just as easy to work on when you flip the cab, better visibility and tighter turn radius, the only negative is that they are not very safe in head-on collisions but otherwise, I love these type of compact trucks.

I bought mine to plow with, then ended up using it as my around town run-about rig. I highly recommend the BlackLine, electro-hydraulic plow. the ability to adjust the blade on the fly, from inside the comfort of the heated cab is wonderful.

I live in the Philippines and there are millions of these here imported from Japan. We call them multi cabs they have 2 door and 4 door trucks and vans. They all share one thing in common, they continuously fall apart they rust out and the suspension is non existent. They cause 50% of the traffic here in the Philippines because they are so slow and break down. Good luck

I like the plow idea. I used to live in Sundre Alberta (just north of the rockies) and we used an old suzuki king quad to plow our driveway lol. Not fun in -40 C but damn was that old suzuki reliable.

Fuel pressure should be around 2 to 2.5-psi. And a common issue, which results in folks bypassing the stock fuel pump and adding the electric, is a clogged charcoal canister. The stock pump regulates pressure by dumping excess fuel back to the tank through a built in pressure relief valve. But if the charcoal canister is clogged, the tank can’t vent. Which leads to pressure in the tank. So, the 2.5-psi pressure relief at the fuel pump, gets bumped up by however much pressure is in the tank. which leads to 4 or 5-psi at the needle and seat, and the fuel just flows past it into the fuel bowl flooding the truck.

I have seen 27 8.50 x 14 tires on those trucks and they work out a lot better than the 4 wheeler tires if your going to run it on the road. A 3 cylinder diesel would be awesome also.

In my country Pakistan 🇵🇰. They still produce it with very little facelift (interior and exterior) and a Euro 2 EFI Engine. Very standard no extra features not even A/C. It is used as loader to transport things. It's called Suzuki Ravi. We also have a Mini Van version of it called Suzuki Bolan. People decorate it with crazy amounts of aesthetic modifications.

@@ThisTall in my country we usually use "cheap" diesel fuel ( biodiesel 80%), which actually not so good for commonrail... (more frequent fuel filter change to keep healthy) So veggie fuel is.......

Very cool... I actually owned one many...many lol years ago . When I was stationed overseas. They were extremely popular along with it cousin the van. I loved it. Just unique and fun and well suited getting back and forth to work... it's a truck lol and in Japan it was great. Funny how popular they have become here recently in the states. Instead of buying a SXS people are finding these things. Be a fun project.

Looks like my db71t. I swapped my carb and deleted my egr. Gave it a 2" lift and 15" wheels. Bunch of lights and winch. Next I'm making her a dumpy. Let me know if you need anything for it or have any questions.
