alternate title: gsxr750 is my new favorite motorcycle (im coming out)
@KeViNMCMXXCIX9 ай бұрын
Happy b'day to our mom! Also good stuff and you are right, part of the fun of owning and riding a motorcycle is to learn to do some maintenance. KZbin has many videos at your disposal so it's easy and not scary to learn to do so.
@jonathanphelps96069 ай бұрын
The tire is pre market with the heavy point. If you find the heavy part of the bare rim and aline them before you mount makes things easier.
@victyper3019 ай бұрын
So mount the heavy part of the tire opposite side of the heavy side of the bare rim?
@IArcticFoxOG9 ай бұрын
100% each ture manufacturer marks things differently, so make sure to look it up. But I mounted my dunlop roadmax 3's (front and back) with the yellow circle (lightest part of the tire) lining up with the valve stem. Once I did that, neither the front or the back needed to have weights added and were perfectly balanced. No wobbles, and I can let go of the handlebars without any wobble. It's pretty cool, to be honest. I'm not saying that they will always he PERFECT, but at least way better off than having to use an absurd amount of wheel weights.

Bro I literally take the same approach when buying all my bikes - buy a nucket for dirt cheap and restore / clean it up. My 2007 GasGas EC 250 was cacked in mud and had pitting in the frame rails plus all the bearings were shot everywhere. I have just finished restoring it in a one off "WW2 german" camo scheme and converted it to supermoto - it's an absolute beast of a bike - 55hp tuned and jetted. Just shows what you can achieve with a little bit of effort and patiance.

I've been wanting a bike for years, and I'm praying i can get one by the end of the year. I just randomly saw your one of your videos and this is my 4th one in a row and I'm about to watch another one. Great comment. Great tutorials. I love your mom. She's absolutely funny, and the food looks awesome. You just got a new subscriber.

I’ve been mounting and balancing my tires for years and it’s just a hassle to do it with the sprocket and carrier installed. When the wheel assembly is loose and not clamped in the swingarm, the carrier can move ever so slightly inside the wheel even with the Cush drives. This will constantly throw off your balance and you’ll have to do it over and over and over and you’ll never get solid results. Guarantee that’s where your trouble lied.

Bro, red dot 🔴 on the side wall should be aligned to the air valve, anotherwise it effect the balancing of the wheel, (making add more weights). I would static balance without the rear sprocket as it doesn’t make a difference and easier without. Hope that helps.

Hey bro, been a long time two wheel fan. Finally made the jump and bought my first bike. Bought a K75 im gonna do a cafe racer conversion on (Can't trust myself to be responsible on a sportbike with no experience). I can't wait for spring to MSF course.
@carlmayer6919 ай бұрын
Cafe Racer 'conversion' .. so swapping clip ons for dirt bike bars on sportbike is going to... make you more responsible.. .LOL GRab a used CBR600RR and have at it ..
@mathias200049 ай бұрын
@@carlmayer691I started on an 03 CBR600rr. With 0 experience! Literally just watched a few KZbin videos on how to drive, and then went on a track day. It was great and I love it! I can 100% vouch for getting that as a first bike also since Honda is magnificent when it comes to reliability! However I do see someone might be better of on a 650 or sum, since a 600 is still a bit much for new riders. When that’s said, I never ridden bikes or anything like it, but I’ve always watched a lot of motorsport such as f1 and MotoGP and I’ve been riding mountain bike (plus I generally get the hang of new stuff pretty quick). I quickly started overtaking some of the fastest bike on the track (such as S1000RR).
@marktarascio47669 ай бұрын
Ok .. look at the factory installed weight on the rim .The weight is installed on the raised ridge in the center of the wheel .That method of installation is easier and more accurate than on the outer edge.
