Heyy just stumble across your channel love the vid u earnd a sub. So i am a newbie to the whole photography space , and i am currently looking to get my first camera i am narrowed my search to the SONY A7 III , paired with a 35mm f1.8 samyan lense , i will get more lenses down the line , since u used a mark 3 for 5 years do you think it will hold up for another 5 or should i save a bit more and get the mark 5? Would love ur thought on this .

Hey there ! Glad that you are finally beginning your photography journey. The a7iii purely for photography is more than enough for someone just starting out especially on full frame. And the full frame ecosystem is costly. The long term investment advise would be invest in lenses over camera bodies. If you think you need the features of the a7V (in the future) then go for it. But remember, when u are just starting out, the a7iii is more than enough for most cases, and in case you think it’s not enough, then upgrade it. 😂 lens over bodies imo. Lenses stay forever !! Hope this helps! Btw what kind of photography are you planning to venture in? 35mm is my favourite focal length as well

@@kendidshoots Heyy yeah a7 iii for photography will be more than enough tho i wanna do some video related stuff down the line then it might fall off against the compitition since it's 8bit recording and it's not that malleable for editing compared to 10 bit (not saying it's unusable it can still make hella beautiful videos and more than enough to upload to KZbin but yeah looking in the long run maybe the only downside of the a7ii ) but thats long into the future so yeah . And for the lens choise i consider a lot of them the 24-70 f2.8 , 50 f1.2 , 35 f1.8 or f1.2 . But at the end i fell in love with the photos and composition 35mm gives out and since it's a wide angle lens it will also be really great for landscape too(also maybe it's due to the fact my dad owned a minalto flim camera it's still there just doesn't work and the photos it captured really caught my eye and when I started learning about photography i came to knew the flim it was taken on was a 35mm so yeah maybe that's why) . As per what I will shoot or what i prefer i am not that sure since I have been only using my phone to click pics so I clicked lot of landscape, nighttime landscape, sunsets , sunrise, clicking pics while going for the morning run , So ig bit of everything so I think it will take some time for me to narrow down my style but ey gotta start somewhere. I am kinda wanna try street photography saw a lot of pov and it's intriguing me so yeah let's see. Also of wildlife when I go out to the park's. So yeah that's my reasoning. Sides, the A7III definately worth it for the camera body in terms of Photography, but if you intend to do video as well, A7IV would be a slightly better pick but, hey A7III 4K 25 is more than enough for "cinematic" bangers imo!!
