I’ve never had a problem with wise I, in fact that’s the only company I use. The grind marks are from balancing, you will see the same thing on rods as well, on any type of combustion engine. You have came a long way brother with your skills, remember it doesn’t matter who you are, you never quit learning!

Wiseco cranks in my experience dont last long, I’ve always either rebuilt my own or used a hot rod crank. Wiseco uses inferior components

I told you to get the case wetter in the crank puller like 3 years ago along with the compression gauge in the radiator pressure gauge.

At one point a few years ago they were Chinese built crankshafts and going out often at less than 5 hours with lots of customers complaints. They had to step up and make things better or else their reputation was gone. Hot rods are made in the USA though 🇺🇸
@jasonpetrich4141
@jasonpetrich4141 4 жыл бұрын
@@TK-gi5sv wiseco has a lifetime warranty so It doesn't really matter! Hot rods has sold regrinds/refurbished parts as new so.....pick your poison. Every bike can be made fast & great with a number of combinations of parts, this happens with the machining industry.Its all trial and error till you figure out what works best for your build

tip on the wheelies go completely stopped 2nd gear and put your left foot on the rear grab bar and right foot on the rear brake best way to learn you kind of get to stand up for the balance point, also the safest way to bail as well

She's fine!!! Now you need to run some quality oil, amsoil/ belray is the only oil I run it makes a difference and it needs to be changed atleast every 10hrs of riding!! And stay on top of maintaining it. Side note !! Tusk stuff is very tough!! I support there clutches big time,.. iv had one with 15% springs in my 01 trx 300ex,and I beat the guts out of the bike, im not nice to it and it just eats it up, never slipped, and its ben in my bike for 5 years, doing great still 👍

Don’t chop the throttle when wheeling. I know it’s hard not to but if you stay on it smooth and let it come up, you’ll hit balance point and you can start to get a feel for what it feels like and how to use the rear brake. Chopping makes the bike, or in your case quad, feel unstable.

The crank and the counter balancer need to be "timed up" and they go in together ... there is 1 line on the crank gear and 2 lines on the counter balancer gear ... the crank gear tooth goes in between the 2 lined teeth on the counter balancer gear. Put the crank in the freezer over night (or use dry ice which is even colder than the freezer) then heat the crank bearing and drop in together (the counter balancer is not press fit so it should drop right in)
