I bought this pit bike non running from an online marketplace. I was worried that I might be getting scammed from the seller. Lets dive in and start fixing this pit bike and have some fun.

I have 2 total 125cc dirt bikes, very similar to what you have; Ive found they need alot of warm up time when you run 87 octane, but step up to 91 and put in some magic marvel mystery oil and you should with that new carb (vm 26 mikuni knock off) be into much more responsive riding! Yes fresh 91 gas and the carb will get things in order!

You should try recreational gas without etanol I used on my 750 bikes and run real good.

Nice bike bud the Chinese carbs are not very good but Amazon has some cheap ones that work great on that bike have fun on it I have a 250 I have a blast on

Thank you Artie. I really wish I would have been able to get the adjustment screw to budge on the stock carb, but I know the aftermarket one will have full adjustment and get this bike dialed in. I hope you have a great weekend.

Thats a nice little bike Alex. It looks like a Mikuni style carb. The Mikuni carbs are fully adjustable and very reliable. That one sounds to have some idle circuit issues. Is that the factory air cleaner? You will have some fun with that on the trails! Yes i think this is some great content as well.👍🇺🇸 Roger

I agree. I’m pretty sure it’s an idle circuit issue. At half to full throttle it runs great. I have another Makuni carb on the way that is adjustable and a better filter. This is the one that comes on the bike and is terrible. Let’s all kinds of dirt through it. I’m super excited to get some parts on the bike and have some fun.

I ended up having to rejet the new carb one size up on both the main and idle.

If you Paid more then $250 you OVER PAID... the Carbs are TRash, so drain ALL the gas out if tou plan on Not riding it for more then 2 weeks....
