Hey Randy, I'm not sure if I'm in the minority, but I would love to see more cheap quick flips in specific detail like you have done in the past. I like how you take us along on the process of doing the research, going to copart, using your experience and thought process to identify which vehicle to purchase, being able to transport the vehicle and making the "simple" repairs required for sale. I know there is more to that but I wanted to keep this short. More technical in debt on how to win more than lose with cheap car flips from your point of view.

I put my tools in cut off Rouse one gallon spring water bottles. It's what is known as up-cycling. Works for a lot of stuff. You can put four of those in a cardboard wine box also from Rouse. Storing in transparent containers allows one to see what is inside without having to label it. Keep in mind...I'm drinkin' wine while i'm watchin' this.

I can assure you that the injection pump on that TDI is NOT out of time. That car would barely run if it was out of time! I've been a certified VW tech for years. The coolant temp sensors are a common problem on those cars. Please don't get a cheap sensor and put it in there! You'll pay for it later! The 1.9L TDI is a good engine! Throw a timing belt, water pump, and tensioner at it! You could sell that car for 2k! I would be interested in it, except I already have 2 of them.

Hit the rims with IronX and wash with meguiars wheel brightener. If it don't come off after that it's a plating issue but it looks like it might actually come off. The truck looks great especially since it wasn't painted in a booth.

IDK if its the same problem but my car tends to cut the AC off at low RPMs. The belt sounds like its slipping and it shuts the system down. Its not just the AC its when I have the blower on so Im assuming my alternator is going bad. If I turn the blower off and wait for the squeaking to stop I can turn the blower back on and the AC will work fine.

One problem I've seen on Volkswagens ground wires being corroded check your grounds. Frame grounds body grounds wiring harness etc. I've personally worked on for and all four were acting a fool after less than 1 hours time. Running like a new car

Did you try mag polish with a drill attachment for those wheels?? Might not take all the imperfections out but sure will brighten it overall
