Hello angels !! In this episode in the artist in paris diaries I finally got my apartment in Paris! I've shared with you my hunt over these last six months apartment hunting in France and I finally found my forever home. I share with you how I found it, the process of buying a place, some struggles and lessons I've learned. Shayna, I moved to France (from England) two years ago and I can't tell you how much your videos have helped me through all the difficult times, all the galère of being in a new country alone, looking for jobs and apartments, dealing with French admin etc. This year I had been feeling very lost about where to go next because deep down I wanted to come back to an artistic lifestyle that I had abandoned long ago, and yesterday I just decided to put aside all my more "practical" options in order to accept my place on an art foundation course I was accepted onto several months ago. I am 25 so it's taken a lot of bravery to ignore everyone's advice and welcome the idea of going back to being a beginner at something I love, and I honestly don't know if I would have had the courage to make this decision, or even would have realised what I wanted, if it hadn't been for your channel. Thank you sooo much. I feel like I am living a moment of big transition side by side with you, and that your success is my success. So excited for these coming months!! I'm still in the dark about the apartment in many ways. Is it a studio? One bedroom? you mentioned a wall was taken down but I'm so curious to see what it is like....no longer having a shared bathroom is a big deal.
