Wow, I’ve been wondering about grading vintage master sets or whether to just grade selected cards. Really looking forward to journeying with you on this. I have master sets from 2004 to 2007, only ex Deoxys and ex Power Keepers are not complete; 10 complete sets. Then from 2007 to 2012 i have a number of sets I was focusing on but not sure at the moment whether to exit the master set building and grade and sell the more popular cards. Seems now the only way to complete master sets is to focus on a few and sell away cards to fund the master set card acquisition. The million dollar question is how well will the cards grade, especially cards that were pulled fresh and never played.
