I have a 2015 Taurus 3.7 AWD and a 1996 Caprice 9C1 5.7 and I think the Caprice has slightly better acceleration but either way both cars are amazing.

@@UniRaY Ahh Yes! The 1996 Caprice was affectionately called Shamu when painted police black and white. Styling and handling / body roll were it's detractors. But it was a reliable work horse that could take a beating.

I want one. I've considered getting one for a while. I like the Tuarus SHO but it's still a little pricy so I got interested in getting an Interceptor. Plus, I know it will be fun to show up to car meats with it. I'd keep it stock on the exterior and make it mean under the hood.

I drove a similar vehicle to that one when I worked in law enforcement. I was assigned a 2013 Interceptor back in 2012 and I drove it for almost 10 years with minimal maintenance issues until just before retirement when the power steering assist module went out. Even then, I drove it to the shop. Great car, just had to figure the easiest way to get in and out of it with all of the gear on.

I want to get one of these I'm just scared of the water pump failure I had a 2018 Taurus that after 40k miles started to go out. But in my area there are some 2014 models that have 100k and are really clean body and paint and normal wear inside also they are extremely cheap I just can't decide between the 3.7 NA or the 3.5 ECO. also I like that these have the upgraded PTU the reenforced suspension the rear is straight piped from the X down. And they are AWD.
