That's the issue with these "bargain" used luxury cars, it's being sold for that "little" for a reason and, if you're not in its intended market financially-wise, you probably can't afford to maintain and repair it. @@acoffeewithsatan when it comes down to it, it truly is a great engine and is very reliable. Yes said O-ring caused an issue, but that's not common for that motor. Compared to anything from BMW of the same vintage, they're dead reliable. I've owned multiple mid-00's Mercs and the drivetrains are always the best and most reliable part. Why the hate for LegitStreetCars? "Supposedly ex-Merc engineer", no, he was a Merc technician for nearly a decade. "Kicking himself over that too", no, he said he loved it in multiple videos.

Mechanic here. The radar sensor in the grill isn't the same thing as the multifunction stereo camera. The MFSC the scan tool is talking about is located at the top of the windshield, hidden by the piece of trim that surrounds the rearview mirror. Basically the radar you pointed to helps with the cruise control and some other things. The stereo cameras up top are used for lane assist, reading the road signs into the dash cluster, object avoidance, 3d navigation etc. I haven't run across this fault at the dealership yet, but since you own the car I would just clear the code and see if it comes back.

M275 engine with biturbo has 604hp and 738ft lbs of torque. I have the sl65 amg 06 and love it abc Is a pain just replaced all the front lines. Had to pull the motor to get to them but yeah the m275 makes almost the same power

I don't know if anyone has commented this yet but the B229B97 code for the field of view on the stereo cameras is actually for the dual cameras in the windshield. This code sets quite often if there is very heavy rain or some type of weather or object that restricts the view of one or both of the cameras. If you go into the environmental data it will actually tell you when it was first set and how many times it has occured, on that Autel tablet you can access that info by clicking on the snowflake icon next to the code description. The wrap covering the front radar sensor definitely isn't good it can affect your adaptive cruise control as well as your emergency braking. Nice video thanks for sharing this cool car.

The new BMW 7 series has door panel heat, BUT! Only for the new ones, but s class already have it few years ago, and damn! That s65 has a lot of options, the rotate Burmester high end speakers, and the Burmester high end speaker at the bottom of the down pannel, and the burmester high end speaker on the top of the room, as I known, that is a few thousand option. And the eletric AC thingy at the back sits is a option too. The back seats entertainment system (The screen at the back) is an option, which cost few thousand again.......Most of the s65 and s63 has a full black interior, I do like black interior, but it's a little bit dull, so I'm waiting for a double colour interior(White and Black).
