Brotha iB....just test rode both the Ducati Diavel V4 and the 2025 Triumph Rocket 3R Storm with mid controls. Diavel is good and comfortable but has all these "flimsy" low quality like plastic parts. The Rocket is just amazing !! The thing is comfortable, high quality finish is written all that bike !! If you are 6'2" or 6'4" tall, the Rocket 3R Storm is PERFECT; whereas the Diavel is good but more cramped. Speedometer reads either 280 km/h which translates in 173 mph(you have a choice in the menu section if you want mph or km/h); and once flashed by BT Moto with a sprint filter could easily hit close to 178 mph. That's fast enough for anyone riding on the street and highway. Service intervals are 10,000 miles and without any chain to maintain maintenance on the service for oil drainage from the shaft drive is only once a year. 0-100 mph off the line is faster on the Rocket Storm than the Diavel V4. Overall, the Rocket Storm would be my choice. By the way the mid-controls for the Rocket Storm Edition can be raised .59 inches so that basically cures any issues with scraping if 'canon carving' is your thing 😁. I would pick the Storm Edition over any bike on the planet knowing what I know now. The comfort, people coming up to you at stop lights and looking at the bike like it's from another planet, receiving more attention from other bikers who are riding the bmw's/ harley's and ducati's, ability to do long distance without any part of your upper or lower back or knees aching, going 700 miles in a day on that seat would be a joy and you can upgrade seating comfort with a customized heated seat from Corbin, long service intervals which means less maintenance, high reliability(spoke to several others with rocket 3 who have over 100,000 miles on their bikes with NO mechanical or engine issues); is simply out of this world. Even on my test rides, I had people gawking at the Rocket 3R Storm...lol...At some point 'fast bikes' simply won't be enough after you turn 37 - 40 years old. There's more to it than just speed...and having the ability to go from 0-60 mph within 2.7 seconds will leave most superbikes in the dust; up to about 80 - 100 mph...
