Take out the table. Market it as only an extra bedroom with the Ag Wagon.Take out the overhead cabinets. Turn the table into a sofa area.

Some people use these smaller campers for their “boutique” vendor booths to sell clothing & jewelry at fairs, events etc. Might be a cute option instead of renovating it for a functional camper 🤷‍♀️

I would sell it. If I were looking for a place to stay while on vacation, I wouldn't want something with a bathroom that difficult to use. However, I think folks who are out camping don't mind as much (beats using the bushes! 😁). I would totally stay in the AG Wagon, though.

I would go for minimal inside redo and then just sell it. It’s cute but I have a hard time thinking of it as a rental. The table needs some type of hinged/foldable top. Maybe take the original top off so it can still be used to change it into a mini bed and keep a folding version on most of time for eating. My single friend in her 70’s has one similar to this. She travels all over and loves it. It’s easy for her to hook up on her truck and she goes all over. Could be a potential market for you! Senior center advertising!

Flip it and turn it into a mobile bar cart! A friend of mine did this, was a mobile bartender for a few years doing weddings and other events and recently sold it for double what she bought it for.

I just bought one like this as well!! I intend to use it for Airbnb and it’s parked in my back yard! When I look for places to stay/camp I was looking for something to similar to this that was affordable per night. A clean safe place to sleep and I love the coziness of small spaces.

That one cute camper... definitely go turquoise n coral inside... my first thought on the table is cut it in half between the 2 seats then if second person wants to sit lift n fold table top over on top of half closest to door... sit n fold it back in place... my biggest pet peave in RVs is the banquet seating for full figured people... very interested to see your progress... definitely flip it !!!

In my opinion, by the time you are done with the renovations, because of the bathroom, it will be hard to flip. So, I think you should remodel, including the bathroom, and make it minimalistic and comfy. Then VRB it. Clients won’t mind the size as long as it is comfortable for one person. Can’t wait to see what you do either way. Just look at some of the camper van renovations for ideas. 🙏🏼🙏🏼💕💕

Flip it, definitely. The table is used to convert that space into a bed so you have to take that into consideration when adjusting its size. Maybe build an additional tabletop that is smaller, and include the original one for the bed conversion.I wouldn't rec. replacing the fridge unless you find one used or if you could sell the big one and use that money for the smaller one. I agree this would be a hazard to use as a rental. Can't wait to see the progress, you guys do such nice work!💕

Because of how much you already invested, and the bathroom challenges, I think it would difficult to flip it for a profit. However, you can remodel including the bathroom (yes, the bathroom), make it sharp, minimalistic and comfortable for one person, and VRBO it. Take a look at a few camper van remodels for inspiration. Figure out a way to make the bed be a Murphy bed. Might need to relocate it to whatever end has less windows. Or…a twin size futon bed that flips up into a couch would save space to do other things. Whatever you decide, I can’t wait to take this journey with you! I am sure it will turn out great!!

At hardware store and amazon they have painting kits for cupboards and counter tops. So that would save money on buying new ct . Also maybe the rable can turn into a fold up n down. Or repurpose the wood 4 table against wall w 2 bar stools.

For the table, you could consider making it a flip up. You do need it for converting that area in to additional sleeping space. If you buy your own land that has hookups,. You could create themed rentals. Build little outside screened gazebo for dinning. Of course flipping is less work in long term.

If you rented it out by the week, it would be easy for people to tow, they would probably be staying at campgrounds with bathrooms, and therefore the little bathroom might not bother them. I agree with others that the table in front is the base for the dinette making a bed, so might want to keep that in mind. Campers usually run about 100 dollars nightly per night to rent, or $700 weekly, at least around here. Very cute camper!

It's such a cute little camper! It has a limited group that can comfortably fit into it, the bathroom is a little strange lol. It has so much potential, I bet you can make a few changes that make it more functional. Is there a window next to the kitchen table? If not you can make a hinged tabletop that folds down into the space. Can you move the fridge over to the table area, and build cabinets there? If so, you can move the table to where the fridge currently is. That would make more functional living space. You can still make a hinged table, but also add swivel chairs that could add to the living space, or little bench chairs for storage. You are creative, I can't wait to see what you do with it!

Omg! You could definitely do a great renovation on this tiny beast! People rent RV towables and you could really make your money back quickly. Especially since TX is in the middle of soooo many National Parks. I'd paint the existing walls and cabinets a bright white to make it look larger and then add pops of teal color accessorizing. Definitely a small portable table and smaller frig.

Just FYI. Look into van conversions for size options. I have a promaster 139 wheelbase. So it’s small. Many have full shower/toilet wet baths, sinks, kitchens. Solar panels, solar generators. Look at vans for options to build out the camper. And there is a huge market for pull trailers. A lot of solo travelers. Good luck.

It’s really cute!! I would make the colors inside match up with the turquoise theme on the outside. Those tiny retro campers can be really cute. If you’re going to flip it, spending a lot of money on it probably isn’t a good idea. However, I totally agree with you on the mattress, a smaller fridge and the cabinet and table issues. You might be able to hinge the table, underneath, so it folds back to let you in on that short side. The toilet would work better if it faced the door - easier to get in & out and use the shower. Even some cute curtains to match the decor would be great. If you update those things, I think you could get $15k for it.

I think I would consider flipping it. Fix it nice inside but not overly expensive items. If you could get it ready for fall it might be great for people wanting to hunt or check out fall foliage etc. I would try to do a smaller depth counter because I can't see anyone wanting to try to cook in there. Maybe a coffee maker, toaster oven a small electric skillet for ham & eggs or a little Hamilton Beach egg cooker that will hard boil 7eggs at a time or poach 2 eggs or make a one or two egg omelet. Takes up the room of a small salad plate or dessert plate. Just some thoughts. Good Luck with it. It might also be just what the little people would like to have, plenty of room and easier to manage.

I’ve seen a few of the small ones done up as little coffee wagons, selling cakes, coffee, drinks etc. mobile coffee vans are popular in Australia. Or mini wine bars for events and types of things. It is difficult to be making decent money out of these when you don’t own the land they are on and have to pay rent and service charges to a park.

At Camping World, they sell a foldable table. You could remove the table all together and use the foldable one. It also would allow for a more comfortable lounge area. You could upgrade the cushions and market it as a “couch area”. The only issue is it would not become a bed that way.

Flip it. We’ve had several campers and love to buy used and keep our camping simple. All I ever want inside a camper is a place to sleep, a refrigerator and a place to pee in the middle of the night. We always cook and eat outside. I always prefer to shower in the camp bathrooms. I would rip out that dinette and make shelves or storage for that section. And yes smaller fridge with a microwave would be great.

-- What a lot of camper owners do is tear it down to the frame and build what they call a tiny house on the frame. This way there can be more head room and designed for the individuals needs. I would not suggest that for this camper as it is in what appears to be very good shape. But old worn out campers can be torn apart and rebuilt as custom as need be.

I would sell it before I did anything to the inside so the buyer can customize it to their likes.

Hello, new viewer here... First off, you are adorable and I love your dress in this video. Now about you new trailer...... I think you over paid, and that is just my opinion. When you were bidding on it, were you able to see the inside? Did you know the bathroom was that small? Again my opinion....fix it up a little and sell it because even though your other camper is an Airbnb, I think this one as an Airbnb wouldn't appeal to very many people because of how extra small it is. I'm a plus size women and I wouldn't want to camp in it.... I would prefer your other camper. I do love the teal colors though.

I'm not a large person, but I think that bathroom is ridiculous; I wouldn't want to use the shower or the toilet, I'd rather use a bucket or camper's toilet and shower outside. I'd gut the bathroom and just use it for extra storage.

Lots of YT videos on redoing these little Scotty trailers. You could get ideas from there. There's also a woman's Scotty owners group (on Facebook) with meet-ups. Some have been done sooo cute. Definitely sell it. It's good for only 1 person, a smallish woman. Be careful about putting too much $$ in this or there'll be no profit to be made. Be sure the systems work, there are no leaks and floor is solid. Also look underneath for rust. I've been an RVer for many years and owned trailers. There is so much that can be wrong with a trailer (and even expensive Class A's) that if you don't know about can render it almost worthless. At least you couldn't rent w/o spending thousands more or sell even for what you paid for it. If you know about a problem, you must disclose to a buyer. I don't like seeing you getting into this category of housing w/o research and knowledge. Just one buying mistake can end up costing you your whole nest egg. Take it from someone who's "been there, done that".

Maybe im misunderstanding, your duplex is profitable, your 1st camper gave you a negetive profit, whi le you had a tax write off, why would you purchase this? No shade, im just a student, even though im older than you

Howdy fellow student!! So the ag wagon gave me a negative profit for 2021 because i hadn't rented it yet! Essentially i was able to deduct the costs to reno it during that previous year and it saved me a bit on taxes for my other businesses. My duplex is absolutely my best investment on multiple levels and if i were just trying to make as much money as possible, I'd just keep buying real estate/ stocks. But I'm a bit of a serial entrepreneur who enjoys trying out different things and projects, so I find a lot of joy in trying to monetize hobbies like with campers. There is no way I could make those ventures a full time gig, but it gives me something to do that challenges me, gives me video content and I just like it. :-) Hope that illuminates it for you!
