Hey Hope, I think you should still report the stolen content, even if they distort your voice. The way social media platforms’ regulations evolve is when their users or content generators complain about infringement. That’s how all the policies of the various platforms come about. If enough people complain, something is done about it. Also, you should flag this to the agencies that regulate copyright infringements in the US. They then hold the platforms accountable so the latter can do a better job of stopping these kinds of accounts.

As someone who works in advertising I can confirm that NO it is not that hard to make your own ad. This format is what we call UGC (user generated content) They are so cheap and easy to make and generally have a really good return. Scouring the internet to steal videos honestly seems harder than filming your own clips lol
@janejones76382 жыл бұрын
True. But someone saw Hope in the video and purchased the scam box. If the scam company used an unknown model, this Hopescoper probably wouldn't have purchased anything.
@janetplanet092 жыл бұрын
They are using Hope to confer legitimacy on their products and because she has 1M subscribers. Also, they want an American woman to reach the American market. (But, damn, they need to adapt American sizes. I’m like a 10X in Chinese sizes!
@HeyJenkies2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I understand that. Their company is a scam so they need false legitimacy to sell product. The point I was trying to make is that it takes almost no money and very little time to film your own legitimate review of someone using/wearing the product. When Hope actually promotes a brand, we’ll know

Good rule of thumb, If you see an ad, and that influencer isn't promoting it on their own page, it's a scam. It would make more financial sense for that influencer to also promote the product directly to their viewer base.
@pissum4202 жыл бұрын
The issue is most people don’t know the influencer as they give no credit. If you recognize the face that’s good but if you don’t, you’re fucked. Facebook is full of older people who wouldn’t know of influencers.
