Some people believe Chanel doesn't want to follow a trend started by a competitor (Dior) it believes is beneath it. It would devalue the brand. Also, it's been 6 years since BDC Parfum was released so if their equivalent of an Elixir doesn't blow the ones in this video out of the water then they shouldn't even bother

I got Gucci Guilty Elixir as a tester after purchasing another cheapie. This made me drop around 120 USD on the smallest bottle I own, but I would never regret it. The more I wear it the nicer it gets, idk what is in this concoction. Thank you for the elixir reviews, I might check some more of them, as I am genuinely shocked at how different this scent is from the original.

My wife loves Victory Elixir on me. We'll have to agree to disagree on The Scent Elixir though, Omar - I think it's a banger. Also, £180 for Y Elixir?! It's only £129 on the YSL website and even cheaper at discounters like Notino and it's less than £100 in the airport duty free. I grabbed a bottle for £80 on eBay!

I do prefer and rank the Scent higher but I must admit if and when price is a factor the Bottled is the better bang for the buck. I would pay Nonito price for Y (approx 115 euros), but imho not a penny more.

I love the Gucci Guity line. I think nowadays both men and woman lines can be used as unisex scent. I can name a few frags that are similar to each other but the GC Guitly line still has its unique appeals: smooth, sexy and mysterious.

Its my favorite offering from boss, as well as my favorite designer "elixir" definitely try it out, they have testers in every Macy's, try it on your skin even if you dont like the opening, it opens very woody, smooth spicy, and dries down to a very *slightly* woody spiced vanilla bourbon scent. Very masculine for such a sweet scent. Nowhere near as sweet as JPG Le Male Elixir or Gucci Guilty Elixir.
