I’m 87 now but when I was 84, I bought the three Super Speed trainers and went through their protocol for 4 months. Why I bought into this training was, it was designed to teach my body to move faster during the golf swing. It’s like training a sprinter by having them run downhill. They run faster naturally but they also move their body parts faster and in doing so the body is learning how to move faster. This is the principle and it is a sound principle. I was able to increase my swing speed from 80 mph to 85 mph and on warmer summer days when my boy is looser, I can almost reach 90 mph. That increase in swing speed allows me to hit drives from 190 yds to 220+ and that is pretty good for a 85 year old. I have maintained by swing speed somewhat at age 87 but now I top off at 85+mph with distance of 210-215 yards. I now use the AutoFlex shaft and it helps increase my head speed at impact and it increases my ball speed with minor increase in distance. It’’s a chore to gain driver distance when your body isn’t as flexible due to age but it takes work and effort.😊

Agreed. It's pretty much the gold standard of speed training Personally I love it, and I've used another brand (that was also not in this review). It's the app that is really the game changer with The Stack. I cannot believe it's not in this test. Video should be called "I bought SOME speed training devices".

I use relentless golf stick, weights in the bottom, easy to change from light, medium or heavy, web site training regime. Works really well, and very cheap; recommended to many friends and they are all converts. Less than $50. Lots of your examples do similar, but way more expensive, Relentless golf stick is brilliant

You did your viewers a disservice by not covering the Stack system. I’ve used three of the systems you reviewed including the Super Speed system and I’m a dedicated golfer who recognizes the importance and value of club head speed and I also happen to be in my 60’s . Speed training is not only important for youthful golfers as you suggested. I can drive the ball as far or further than I did in my 40’s. The Stack system has the advantage of having an Ai component which tailors the program to your current and developing progress . It also has cleaver motivational messages to keep the user engaged. I’ve cycled through the system four times in the last 2 years and I’ve enjoyed significant gains and enjoyment.

I just bought rypstick and have done 3 sessions with it. The app is great with speed log (if you bought the radar) and very easy to use. Have played 2 rounds since started the program and saw improvements on shots that I really go after. The ball comes off a lot hotter and it feels more compact at impact (I play off +1). Will take my flightscope out after finishing level 1 (12 sessions) to see if there are actual changes in club/ball speed. Went with rypstick instead of superspeed just because of the convenience of having 1 instead of 3.

I have been using Superspeed on and off for over a year. The product and program have yielded good results. Over the last month, I have switched up my training and started using my driver exclusively for speed training. The results have been equally good as well.

OK. Hear me out. I've tried many swing trainers. The best thing I've ever used was a heating rod from an electric hot water tank. It's got some weight, it has the length of an iron. When you pick a spot in your yard, usually about the size of a dime, you line up and hit that spot. It slices in the ground instead of a big divot. You see precisely how far of from your mark you were plus the exact plane line of the direction of your swing. You see if it's out to in, in to out, straight.. it changed my swing accuracy within 20 minutes... amazing. Please try

Mach 3 doesn't get much press. Josh Koch collaborated on one of their products which adds legitimacy to the system. I started using the Mach 3 JetStick a few weeks ago. But, too soon to tell if it will help because I've already made big gains from SuperSpeed sticks over the past 4 years. I'd like to see more reviews on Mach 3.

SuperSpeed Golf has a speed kit for seniors. I think it’s a great product but as he said, it takes dedication. If you start the program, you’re going to have to do it 5 weeks, three sessions a week so basically every other day. It doesn’t take much time, maybe 15 minutes but you’re going to have to make sure you’re warmed up first. I definitely recommend this product if you are serious about your swing speed

Fewer injuries at 2:18. Though you could say injured less often, though injuries being countable one would use fewer. "Fewer is used to refer to number among things that are counted, as in "fewer choices" and "fewer problems"; less is used to refer to quantity or amount among things that are measured, as in "less time" and "less effort"1. This distinction was first made by grammarian Robert Baker in 1770, and has been promulgated by many grammarians since then 2. Less is the comparative form of little and is used especially before uncountable nouns, while fewer is the comparative of few and is used before plural nouns3."

Clubhead speed comes from a snapping action, of which speed can be trained with a swing donut. Ball speed demands on-time snapping release.
