the top coat of the covergirl one I remember was the magic part and it worked over most lipsticks and I found it really moisturizing! maybe the lipstick part was drying?

Oh yeah. L’Oreal, Maybelline, Covergirl, Revlon. They all had them. There was a stain that Revlon made that I loved. It was a marker on one end and a balm on the other. So awesome

I have one from L.A colors! I feel more people are hyped about it bc of the name (NYX) and the packaging. Glosses are the new matte lipsticks too so NYX coming out with their own formula of this kind of product suddenly got hyped up.

I used the maybelline ones! They stayed put and my lips weren’t dry cause I could reapply the balm (and that’s coming from something who applys heavy duty lip balm frequently throughout the day)

Yes! Covergirl, Rimmel, Maybelline. This kind of lip product isn’t new at all! The only good thing about the NYX ones are the colors. I really like the nude ones. The other brands always just had bright reds.

Have even got to be the 'rescuee' in demonstrations at county fairs and dog shows a couple of times! I love all dogs but Newfies and St Bernards just speak to my heart for some reason.

I don’t really trim my brows either, but the trick is to only take off the tips. Don’t cut down to the eyebrow line, you just want them softer not short. 😘

I am so excited about that nyx lip color! I had used lipsense ages ago and while it stayed on forever, it also stayed on FOREVER. Like, 2 days later I'd still have hints of color on my lips and I'd have to scrub it with my toothbrush. It made my lips so incredibly dry, the alcohol content in it was so high, and it BURNED so bad! Also, MLMs are terrible, and knowing more about the structure of them I refuse to support them. Glad to find an alternative! (colourpop has a long-wearing lip color I do like, but it does transfer some).

I had that issue with the nyx lipsticks right away, like I put the top coat on and it made it come off! I prefer maybelline’s infallible and cover girls outlast lipsticks, honestly they never fail me. ☹️🤷🏼‍♀️

You can use the “seal” side of the kiss lash glue and seal on your eyebrows and they keep them in place! Not the glue! Just the clear seal!

I started using the falscara when it came out. Love them, but I wish they had one per eye in a smaller length for the inner corner of the eyes. Also she said it came off easy but I found the glue was really hard to get off, like the lashes came off but there was so much residue left that I really had to work off with makeup wipes.
