the foundations has irritating allergens like coconut oil and coconut extract and botanicals like milk thistle seed extract and rosemary. PLUS there’s numerous fragrances. i remember when alexandria ryan tried this stuff when it first came out and poor girl was subtly itching her face the rest of the video

I’m from France, and we have here a brand, called Adopt, that makes dupe for some high-end perfumes. They have one for the YSL Black Opium that I SWEAR scents the absolute same, for a fraction of the price (9€ so 10USD); I’m this close to offer you to send some of those out of pure fandom 😂😂

Love your videos 💕 just wanted to suggest that if you want to do more perfume comparisons to do like a “nose palate cleanser” of sorts like coffee beans to really see a difference in scents 😊 sometimes if you don’t do this your nose may become confused and one scent can impact how you smell another! @@mackenziedavidson4974 you do have to reapply but not too often. Blotting in between is usually good enough for most. Because of the dimethicone it will eventually pill if you pile it on over and over. Sort of like a blurring primer would. We love it for men (natural makeup, bald heads etc) mature skin, natural looks. It’s cheap and easy to play with / figure out :)

for the concealer - try using less, by a lot. i've seen other creators (zabrina is one) who uses the tiniest dot with full coverage concealers and dabs it out with her finger for the warmth and she usually gets almost perfect concealer.

It seems so interesting to me when a beauty person posts a TikTok of a product, where you can't really judge it, because of the short length of the video, calling it viral and telling everyone that they need it. Then it sells out in 5 minutes. I have never seen a product presented by an influencer and then went out and bought it. Ever. Even if I liked it. I don't need 18 different eyeliners. I'm not hating on these people - the money they spend is their own. I just find it weird that people are so massively and successfully influenced by such vague presentations. I get that KZbinrs like Rachel do these reviews for a living. But the average person rushing to buy everything they see online that people call viral... why?

a lot of people will say the video is sponsored but they’re giving their honest opinion and i’ve never believed that they’re being honest. like, function by beauty has gotten a lot of shit for making peoples hair thin out and lying about being free of silicones (the shampoo and conditioner is but nothing else is). i automatically trust something less if it’s sponsored. plus the majority of things that get sponsored are stuff you need to use for a while to notice an actual difference. sure, the makeup looks great now, but it could cause long term skin irritation or acne. but since the people sponsoring it don’t use it, they don’t know that.

Yeah I have a very hard time believing that decent high quality perfumes can be duped by cheap, synthetic ingredients and still have any semblance of the same quality and wearing longevity. I’m sure some of the expensive perfumes out there are just overpriced synthetic garbage, but like you said, the good stuff is expensive because the ingredients are expensive and they can’t be duped.

I think itheyre more like and everyday option than anything else. I own the YSL and the Zara ones, and they’re similar, like if you like one you may like the other, but they’re definitely not the same, the YSL it’s deeper, richer, it lasts longer on me, so I would say it’s better. But the Zara one it’s a nice everyday option.

I am a candle freak, have a ton ,burn a ton and just not a fan of the wood wicks, they don’t burn very evenly, even with trimming they are hard to relight and burn correctly, evenly or stay lite .

The YSL version never lasted long on me. I was forever getting samples because I loved the scent, but I never wanted to commit to buying a bottle because of the price. If I'm going to spend that much on perfume I want it to last all day on me. I bought the Dossier version and love it. Smells exactly the same and lasts just as long, maybe even longer honestly. I can still smell it on my skin just a little at the end of the day, and it DEFINITELY lasts on my clothes.
