😂 Jackie, this type of company uses the molds of the originals but that are too old or defective and need to be destroyed, but instead steals the molds to make the fake ones. For that reason a lot of figures have holes or extra material 😂😂 but always is fun to watch you open it. Thanks ❤

I take back what I said...especially after seeing poor Applebloom...if you look at the front of the ears you can see where the edges of the original ears are and where they modified them (and that overbite my goodness), plus all of the faces are nightmare fuel. They changed the wings on the Tokidokis, and the generics are just that. Honestly, I think the Tokidokis look the best. The wings are just rhombuses, but the paint jobs are pretty good. The shape of the faces and hair, and simple eye design, makes them much easier to get the eyes lined up properly.

I IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZED THE SPIKE. Those came from like, coloring books for kids, I think! Which is why the molds look so off in comparison to most. And the fact that the officials don't look 100%, added with the fact that these are bootlegs? Yeah, they're screwed. Course I could be wrong, but that's my best guess. Edit: I AM CORRECT. I looked them up. They're from the "My Busy Books" line! These are bootlegs of those figures, just INCREDIBLY poorly done, because they're bootlegged. Side note: The official Spike is hilarious looking.

Ah yes...the Palmers brand "chocolate" advent calendars. My parents "splurged" on those a few years. They're mostly cocoa butter and sugar and are flavored with cocoa liqueur, so they really aren't exactly chocolate. It's basically poorly flavored white "chocolate" and since it doesn't contain any actual cocoa it's super cheap to make. Their Easter bunnies are absolutely atrocious too. It used to be pretty much the only option though.

Maybe something you can do on your craft channel is to try and 'fix' the toys you get from these boxes, repaint them, clay, do whatever to make them ok for something. Wouldn't have to be just what they were supposed to be, just something less bad. Would be a good way not to have a bunch of trash all over the place from bad fake products.

I bought this calendar and in the full knowledge that these are fakies and plan to unbox it on my channel throughout December. I also own a few TokiDoki Unicornos, so as soon as I saw this calendar had knock-off Unicornos & Mermicornos I was in! What makes me laugh is that the figures which are based on actual characters from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic aren’t unicorns! Either pegsi or earth ponies. These G4 ponies are supposed to be based off moulds of Phidal busy book figurines … and yes, the official busy book digures have those derp eyes!

I got for my birthday (day 5) Scootaloo. Fun fact I believe these moulds are based on the moulds that were used in the My Little Pony Busy Books which already had pretty derpy looking paint jobs and sculpts hence why these are extra bad. That's also probably why they added the Toki Doki and those generic ones as filler in there because the busy book moulds only came with the mane six the cmc, Cadence and Celestia. I don't know why they didn't try to use sculpts/moulds from the mlp blind bags though there's plenty of those they could of used. Weirdest calender I've ever had was a fake Squid Game fidget calender it wasn't as bad as some of these like there was some actual decent stuff in there but there was also some questionable items as well. I might try and get the bts calender that's similar to mlp one this year.
