@@JohnHenkamGangte for sure! There is a podcast episode on a playlist on my channel where I talk about my journey. But essentially did low end jobs and made connections with business owners locally, did a lot of real estate, weddings and concerts. Then progressively took on larger and larger projects. Biggest thing is shifting your expertise to “I’m just a videographer” to “I’ll build a strategy for your brand to get recognized online,” video just happens to be the best way to do it. @@LycanVisuals I used the "Free to Fee" method right away and want to say that I landed my first real estate shoot a couple weeks after taking the course and then a free wedding that same month and then from there everything snowballed. In terms of how much skill I had... I would say that just comes with practice and time, looking back at those old videos, it's clear I didn't understand the things I do now; but wouldn't have known that without the experience. Best advice... just get out there, make connections and offer your services to build your portfolio. Eventually something will stick, best of luck!

When I first came across the adverts on Instagram & FB, I was sceptical and thought it was just another video scam and wasn't legitimate. It took a few months of seeing the adverts before I decided to check it out, and I'm so glad I did. Full-time filmmaker answered so many questions I had when starting my video business alone. It felt like every time I hit a problem, they had experienced it and covered it in a video. I'm so glad I decided to join and the return of value from the course has been huge!
