I want to read the Abby Jimenez (never read her before) and Frozen River. I could get the Abby Jimenez next time I see you since you’ve already read it! I’ll wait for Frozen River.😊 Also, dad and I would like to read the second Thursday Murder Club…we really enjoyed the first!

Among the Hidden was one of my favorite books when I read it as a kid. I don't believe I ever finished the book series and definitely want to revisit it.

The Lincoln Highway is one of the best books I have ever read!!!! It's super different from A gentle man in moskow but the writing is so good. It is the best case of imperfect characters where you come to love them all. I never hear anyone talk about this book so I am really exited for when you will read it!!!! It reads quicker than it looks so don't be to intimidated by it's size.

Olive Kitterage (won Pulitzer)and olive, again are short interconnected stories. I liked both of them. The other 2 books are the 3rd and 4th book of a different series.

Your imitation of the BOTM commercial ... gave me the laugh I needed this morning! I'm excited to hear your thoughts on the Thursday Murder Club. I loved it! Also loved The Appeal! Stacey Abrams ran for Governor in my state, Georgia, and unfortunately, lost. I've read her nonfiction, but she's been a romance and thriller writer for a long time. (She's also a lawyer and was in Congress!) She wrote romance under the name Selena Montgomery. I want to try her fiction. I would say start with The Appeal. It's a quick read. I liked the audio, but it can be confusing because it's mostly email, messages, texts, etc. Happy reading! 😊

Great haul. The Crowns of Nyaxia is a series of duologies. The Serpent and the Wings of Night, along with the Ashes and the Star-Cursed King (and a little novella, Six Scorched Roses, my favorite), is the first set. I believe the first in the next set is due out soon. I picked up the Neopolitan series a while back (found two at the thriftstore and saw they had really great reviews) and will finally be getting to the first one this month.

I am currently reading The Serpent and the Wings of Night and 31% in and it is good. It is giving me Anne Rice vibes with trails. I really wanted to try reading the Nevermoor series but I just couldn't get into it.

Looks like a lot of interesting books, I read maybe one or two. I think you should read Ruth Sepety's book Shades of Grey. I read that book, it was very good, that is the one I really liked of hers. Plus it is a Young adult and will go faster.

Caste is a wonderful nonfiction read. I don't know that you should start with it though. I also loved Between the World and Me. State of Terror sounds like fun - I would love to hear your opinion on that one.
