DNFs are a lot satisfying and a little maddening. I like clearing things off my TBR but get irritated that I've spent time on something without a payoff. The Brandi Carlile book sounds amazing! A couple of my friends are huge fans of her music but I'm not as familiar with it. Good video!

I tend to make the decision 50 pages in or less. Then I don’t feel like I’m wasting too much time! I’d definitely have those friends read the memoir! It’s great for people who aren’t fans too 😊

Think of the DNFs as a trial, and you got valuable information from the effort. You know how you feel about that book at that time. And just giving the books a chance is more than many books get.

I love this series. I mix new and some of my really old books throughout the month. So I love series like this as it is so encouraging.

Agreed! One thing I think I’m missing - I don’t add my new purchases to this jar. Maybe I should create a different jar with those… oh the possibilities! 🤣

I started the month off with two DNFs and was watching another channels vlog where they DNFd the first couple of books. Sometimes, that is just the way it goes. I am glad you ended up with something awesome. I will have to keep it in mind if I come across it.
