For the dc sound to come out u have to tighten the drag all the way and spin the handle as hard as possible

I have a question tap backing on the bait caster spool for braided fishing line or no backing thank you very much that bait caster reel is beautiful I also just bought my dream bait caster reel i got a Abu Garcia max x bait caster reel and a Abu Garcia vengeance medium havey bait caster rod 👍🏼🔥 I really don't like that screeching sound on the bait caster reel it's anoying in my opinion

Many people do backing, and it’s just so your braid doesn’t slip. Trust me, I’ve had it slip on a hook set and the fish came off

You HAVE to give Sixgill rods and reels a shot. They do bogo deals throughout the year and the quality and service are amazing. Have 12 setups now that are all from them.

Gonna have to watch those aluminum micro module gears if you fish hard, using high resistance lures, or catch big ones a lot. They might hold fine, but if you read much on forums, it is a for sure weak point of this old Metanium model.
