Propper recovery points on the front or a well attached winch bumper with a winch. Next thing would be rock sliders with integrated steps. Also consider getting good skid plates for the underneath. Offroading isn't fun if you tear up your daily driver.

Congrats on the truck! I’ve got a 2020 F150 Platinum in the metallic deep grey, and it’s AMAZING. Absolutely perfect for family comfort, for my kayaks, and for towing my boat. I’ve got the same engine and the fuel efficiency is INCREDIBLE. New York to Florida on a tank and a half! I’m not into off roading, so I don’t do any mods… other than adding a kickass tonneau cover with a built in rack/rail system.

I have two fords. I have a 2015 F-150 that's my personal truck, and a 2018 F-350 that is my company vehicle that I bring home. My 150 is the 2.7 eco boost. Currently I have a leveling kit, 33 inch General Grabbers on method racing rims, K&M cold air intake, morimoto catted y pipe coming from the turbos to a 4 inch MBRP exhaust. 6 inch Rolling Big Power tip just behind the rear tire, pedal Commander tuner, and I did a chrome delete. It's going to the shop next week though because I'm going to West Virginia for work, and the I sent the turbos out to get work done.

I personally would just put a 2.25-2.5 inch suspension level on it and 33s with 18 inch rims (I have the fuel Krank). You can do a lot of offroading with that setup and it'll still ride good and tow well. That's what I have on my f150. I also have a tuner and full Magnaflow exhaust on my truck. Definitely add a foldable tonneau cover too. But as far as tires go, I would buy the falken wildpeak at3w. I highly highly recommend them. They have a 55,000 mile warranty and have taken me through some crazy stuff. The only time I needed 4x4 was to pull a buddy out when I went hunting once. He had his 7,000 lb suburban stuck in about 4-6 inches of mud. I had to pull him out down a road that was just as wide as my truck. The road was about 1/8 mile long and not to mention that I did it with 5 big guys in the suburban, all the dogs, and a heavy dog box. The tires cleaned out well and got us both out no problem. Since then I have also put these tires on my Jeep wrangler. I think they are the best hybrid/ all terrain out on the market.

I have a 2015 Platinum FX4. 6” lift is the max I’d go, with 20x9 or 20x10 with -12 offset MAX wheels with 35x12.50 tires. You’ll have to do some trimming in the front for the tires to be able to fully turn. If you go with bigger wheels/tires, you’ll have to cut more. Also, get the power step running boards!

Nice truck. I have a 19 lariet and I did all led lights on mine. Headlights,fog lights, third brake light light bed lights,and reverse lights. The reverse lights help soo much when backing up in dark. I tinted my windows. I also bought the shocks for tailgate to let down slowly. Haven’t done much to it but I love the truck. Love that color you picked tho.

Also you should put a catch can on it immediately. These ecoboost motors are incredible but because of turbo boost there is a lot of oil blow by and the catch can will keep the motor more clean and prevent future problems. Mine is 3.5 ecoboost I've done cold air intake, Edge tuner, 4in exhaust, 2.5in BDS lvl kit, 22x12x33 -51 offset with nitto ridge grapplers, bed cover, blacked out tint, red and black emblems

I have a '19 XLT sport fx4 and it's my dream truck. It has the 3.5 Ecoboost. Only mods I've done are tires, LED headlights, and a custom tune. The tune is awesome, putting down over 400hp and 500ftlbs at the wheels. It's a tow pig so I haven't lifted it as much as I'd love too.

That’s a gorgeous Ford F-150 XLT sport I’m getting one soon but in a rapid red with the 3.5 ECOBOOST and max towing package and fx4 😅 but get a 2.5” level kit with beefy off road tires and the best hitch would be a gen y hitch drop hitch and also get a winch and light bar . Leveling kit would be best when you towing your atv and boat . Fun fact about the power boost has 430hp/ 570 lb ft best in class power

I would not do a bed liner, because water can get between the liner and bed. I would do the spray in liner. Get some nice nice neoprene seat covers to protect the seats. I have a 2013 F150 XLT, rides great, handles nice. You will love this truck. We put a big bull/ranch grill on the front. Live in an area loaded with deer, that way we hope have less damage.
