Holy crap 70k views!! I never expected anything like that just wanted to document my experience buying a family’s storage units. There is ALOT of details that are not shown in this video from this day so please don’t assume anything. We’re not pros nor do we claim to be but this was an awesome haul that netted about 16k. In a 3-4 month period (We kept a lot of stuff ;) thanks for watching!!

Since you bought the units in storage then moved it all to another storage place, what I wonder is why did you not pay the storage fees and leave everything in place and then work your way through it all? Or maybe rent one more room close to the ones you bought and then pick your way through it all and put keeps in the one you just rented and the rest that is garbage move out of the way. Just a thought. And amazing to find such nice clean totes to go through, not the usual way, from what I have seen. Good finds.

For your first unit. You score big time. A lot of those item were worth a lot. Just the bike alone seem like you got your money back. Those bike didn't look cheap, But newer style and in great condition. Those totes and crates are worth bank too by themselves, The black look expensive since they're heavy duty. You got lucky. Would be nice to check out the item inside those totes and do a series of what was sold. I am considering doing something like this. Once i get my lawsuit check.

If you are going to keep doing this with Uhaul you should rent some rollers and then you can roll the boxes to the front. That is how truck companies do it. I use be a loader and a driver. so get or rent some rollers next time.

Next time y’all rent a UHAUL, the ramp actually comes out/pivots up and hooks to the top edge of the floor. Gets rid of that step up/down which is safer 🤟

Just had a great idea.. if u own the truck, should have the box build it with shelves and of course have to build another exit point in and out and have people shop inside the truck.. lol Im sure it be cool to travel to flea market and all u need is space to park and bam your ready for business. (Of course u would need to set it up inside) But what be even better is a trucker flea market and rolls of em together..

It is illegal to store propane tanks inside any enclosed structure in most places. Check with your local Fire Dept. If something happens that involves those tanks you could be liable for any and all damages.

suggestion....If you are going to continue buying units, stack boxes/tubes near back of truck then have one person in truck and one on the ground...Continued use of a ramp will kill your knees. You are young now, but, the mileage adds up over the years...I was in that business for 20 years, before the TV programs, and now have to get both knees replaced because I didn't think about the abuse of my body.

What'd ya pay...what ya think you'll make? Also check you state laws before you jump into storage buying. In some states the owner of the storage facility can go in, look though the stuff, take what he want, then auction off the remains.

I learned my lesson about buying buildings. Maintanence is costly, especially if your building is an older one. I would never buy again....When the time was right to get out of the Antique Store business and just do ebay and rent booths in malls, I would not because I could not get my building sold. Because of having to replace a roof, get a new furnace, and repair part of the foundation I owed just as much when I sold as when I purchases the building 25 years earlier....I ended up having to short sell. I will never buy again.

We go all over central Florida. We deal mostly with furniture and household goods. A lot of the stuff in your video that you sell, I usually toss out. Never thought to sell any of that stuff on eBay.
