I instantly loved Barenia! It's so classy and elegant. It's not something everyone will like, that's fine with me- so it will never become mainstream. It last very well, without being beast mode. It's something I imagine a royal or a politician wear.

Croissant!! I sampled Barénia today and it had that same honeyed floral accord that I smell in Jour d’Hermès. Chypres are my favorite, but I can’t help but feel like Barènia should have been released in 2014? It reminds me of Euphoria with the lily and woodsy base, but is warmer and sweeter. I like it, and while it seems like an odd release for Hermès, I respect it. Miracle berry is a cool note, and I appreciate the subtle, abstract “leather” and “metal” vibes Christine Nagel achieved here. Cool fragrance, but not yet a standout for me. Perhaps my opinion will change. ( I like Hermès fragrances, but their citruses turn so sour on my skin 😢 with the exception of 24 Faubourg.)

Barenia-fan here too😍🍂 Very nice description! I feel it has a perfect balance of classic and modern. Also versatile - used it for work today, and for a day in town with my daughter last saturday. Gives me a feeling of power but also ease - it has a grounding effect on me, and also has a bite. Interesting one, liking more for every time I wear it.

I love Barenia! The reviews seem to be very mixed so I’m always happy to see when others like it too. I seem to like the chypre category, and Barenia is so unique to me.

I love Chypres. I’m not sure Barenia is a chypre, at least not a classic one as I understand them, but I do find it wearable and pleasant! I blind bought a 15ml and I’m happy with it.

Hi Clémence, 🥐🥐🥐 I like “Barenia” too. I love many Hermès perfumes, like "Un Jardin à Cythère", "Un jardin sur le Nile", "Un jardin sur le roof", "Twilly Eau Ginger", "Terre d'Hermès" but not "Eau Givrée". 😅 I really like chyprès, i must say. Even though i am a lover of gourmand fragrances, i love chyprès. And I liked this one, it's a little retro chic working girl feel. I wouldn't buy it, but i liked it. 😊 And i love the brand "Versatile". I'm not a huge fan of roll on but their fragrances are very good. Love "☕️ 🥐" and "God bless Cola"'. I'd love to try the one with butter, chicken, beer and w*ed. 😅🧈🍗🍺🍻🌱🍁 Have a lovely day. 😊🤍

I have tried Barenia three times now and I honestly don't know what to make of it. I love the opening, don't really care for the middle and I kind of like the dry down, but when I smell it on my clothes I love it again... Take care and thank you for your thoughts on it 😘 Croissant !
