No body believes it's free, that is why, soon as they realise it is actually free, then they would be fine with it, unless they have some strange belief that they think they earn their own money and don't understand how everything is connected to others giving money for what they offer or do, in which they dependent on others being interested in giving them money, so on some level everyone is dependent on others being willing to give them money. So being self reliant is a little bit unrealistic, unless they live on a farm grow all their own food, make all their own clothes, mine all their own technology, build all their own technology, and so on, you get the point, we're all in it together helping each other out.

Personally l think we need to even get away from the term ‘animal products’, because a living being and their secretions is not a product. Or to give another example, if they asked you to buy something else you find morally reprehensible, for example child pornography, you wouldn't do that either right? The end result is the same whether it's you doing the killing or you're paying someone else to do it. Humans have been fighting and killing each other for ridiculous reasons for x amount of years, does that mean that its the right thing to do and that it should be continued once you realize its unnecessary and avoidable? *No.* Your appeal to normality or tradition = logical fallacy. Your enthusiasm and the rate at which your activism evolves is really a joy to witness. I think this subtle 'manipulation' via gifts can really benefit your effectiveness when reaching out to people. I remember that this technique is also used during negotiations, as the other party then feels indebted and is more likely to make concessions to 'return the favor'

Thing is with growing up in the city is that you’re not really exposed to the food industry apart from when you’re walking down your local High Street and seeing all the takeaways...... and that is why the kids have no idea what’s behind their food

Three years ago I went on a whole foods plant-based diet just for health reasons. That was the gateway into me becoming vegan for ethical reasons. It's as if the animal products and refined foods were blocking something in my mind. I watched Gary Yourofskys speech and the land of hope and glory, which made me decide to give up the tiny bit of cheese and eggs I was still eating and even become an animal rights activist. We should absolutely encourage people to do it for their health, just make sure that they are also educated on the ethics!

I was vegetarian for many years, then watched 'The Game Changers' and started to research more into the health benefits of a vegan diet. That led to researching animal cruelty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hated myself for eating dairy and eggs. :( Watched 'Dominion' and have been an ethical vegan ever since. I'm so glad that I discovered your channel Joey, your videos are so insightful... Thank you so much! I've been vegan for a year now, feeling healthier both physically and mentally. It's a great feeling to eat/live with a clean conscience. Vegan for Life! :) x

I find it very noble of you to have admitted your ordering mistake and trying to make up for it with such unique activism! When I first went vegan I bought a veggie burger that had non-vegan mayo on it without knowing, and I was really hard on myself. I'm sure this has happened to a lot of vegans, and this is a great idea on how to try and "reverse" this mistake.

This is a very nice way of getting people interested. The reality that the animals face is really hard to see, so maybe introducing people to veganism in a more easy way, like buying them a subway lunch will get more attention. Cause yes, the hard to watch videos of the farms and slaughterhouses are the things that truly motivate us, but maybe they are too intense for people walking down the street
