I was all about temu when it was super popular on KZbin. I stopped shopping there and on amazon because most of the stuff was just terrible quality. I realized I was also just buying tons of crap I didnt even need and most of it would get thrown away or donated within a month. A lot of stuff arrived broken for me as well.

I believe the issue with Temu is that it's a Chinese company and there is concern on the data that is being collected from purchasers. Same with Shein. I saw a news documentary on it. Buyer beware.

Yes, it is a Chinese own company and they put stuff on your phone that skirts under tracking and attaches to the other sites. Just know, you put it on your phone and they know everything.

Hi Vivian ! I haven’t seen one of your videos for ages - don’t know why, but when I saw you were doing Temu, I just HAD to watch ! I know that you give a critical view to everything you test and I knew that Temu would give you a run for your money ! So many of my friends have said that ‘Temu just sells rubbish’ or ‘it doesn’t last’ but overall, I’ve found most things I’ve bought from there to be very good quality and a lot less than the exact same thing from elsewhere ! I love the fact that they will refund you the difference if an item goes down in price and also that they will refund without return for certain items - things that are less than £10-£15, probably because the return postage would far outweigh the cost of the item anyway. I have bought many model sets off Temu - they do a lot of current models that Lego do but I have steered clear of them and tend to go for models that Lego doesn’t do, like Vintage Cars, and miniature buildings. Some do have faulty pieces in them but that’s why they have excellent customer service and are willing to refund either partly or in full ! I’ve bought clothing off Temu too and it always looks exactly as advertised ! I’ve only had one item that was slightly damaged on arrival (seam wasn’t stitched properly), they gave me a part refund and I stitched it up ! What it is REALLY great for is crafting supplies ! One of my work colleagues from the charity I volunteer at is a crafter and she has inspired me to re-start again ! I used to make earrings, keyrings and cards about 35 years ago just as a hobby and sell them on the odd craft stall or give them as gifts to family and friends. This time round, it will still be a hobby but what I make on them will be split, taking half for putting back into my hobby and the other half will be donated to the charity (The British Red Cross).

I've had awesome experiences with Temu! I've only had a couple of issues, and one return, and their customer service people are excellent. You do need to read descriptions and sizes carefully, but you need to do that with any site.

I buy from Temu every month and I have no regrets at all. The amount of cool stuff that I get for dirt cheap is awesome and helpful in my everyday life too. The problem is too many people think that the products on Temu are less than products on Amazon when many of the same items are made by the same factory but you pay more for a label to be put on it

Just beware who delivers your packages uni-uni is the worst. They send messages at 11:03pm on Sunday saying “ item was just delivered “ I live in a gated community. You need to go through a gate , there is no delivery on Sundays or at 11pm. Then their drivers can’t read directions, 3 of my packages were sent back to china, even though I have ordered personalized gifts for Xmas. I started ordering huge orders , but was disappointed with the quality of some of the knock offs. Just careful not everything that shines is gold 😂

My 1st shipment with uni-uni went great. The 2nd, nope. Package was stolen bcuz they didn't bring it upstairs. I can also tell u that OnTrac (aka LaserShip) sucks. They just expanded in2 even more states so u can figure customer service will be non-existent. No humans & responses to questions or complaints are hit or miss

I have bad arthritis in my hands and have very dry skin on my knuckles because my fingers are deformed my elbows have psoriasis on them I love the wax. When I use it (unscented wax or the peppermint wax) it is so nice. Keeps my skin soft and so much help with the pain on cold days.

I used to work in a physical therapy office, and we had a wax machine. It's good for arthritis. We dipped the hands in 5 times and wrapped in saran wrap and then a towel and let sit 15 minutes.

You want to put a heavy lotion on right before using the wax - it is beyond awesome. I am an arthritis/fibromyalgia girl, and the hot wax does help. I do it after dinner is over and the dishes are washed. The warmth calms down my joints and relaxes the spasms in my wrist/hand/fingers. I do suggest you get more wax. You should be able to submerge to your wrists/ankles. Also, after you wax your feet, do not try and recycle the wax and throw it back in the melted. I was told as long as you wash your hands really well before use, when you take the wax off your hands, you can throw it back in unit. I have used Vaseline, heavy over night cream, argon oil/coconut oil. Takes the experience through the roof!!! BTY - I just adore you!! I really enjoy those zingers and you telling it like it is. I never thought and product review video would make me giggle. Your smile is contageous!

Pro tip from a nail person. If you do the wax dips put some really nice lotion on your hands first and then dip them in the wax It helps the lotion absorb faster and it goes in deeper Make sure you also put your hands inside baggies before you put them in the gloves same with feet.

I've not had a problem with Temu. Watch out for reheating rice syndrome. Love the mini scalp applicator. Do you whiten your teeth, with what? For sauna hat, put conditioner in your hair and a shower cap 2/1 treatment. Physical therapists use wax baths, very nice. The cleaning bots are a thing in Hong Kong. There is also one that cleans the outside of windows.

The app is mainly there to get your personal data and you just don't know who will get access to it in the future. Also check the terms and conditions on import thoroughly - there are a lot of dupes on this site and if you import them allegedly you become the entity that exports and imports them meaning you could be personally held liable. A lot of the products do not have the adequate safety tests required for these products so you simply don't know if the product is safe and if the materials used are non toxic. It is just too great a risk I personally think.

The hot wax machine is perfect for those with arthritis in their hands but you'll have to find more wax so it's deeper. Many with arthritis can't lay their hands flat enough to get them dipped

I’ve have one ( rec,d as gift about 15 yrs ago) it’s awesome. I have had rheumatoid arthritis from 4-5 yrs old I’d recommend everyone buy one. When using on hands dip to just above wrist. It dries quickly , re-dip 4-5 times. It stays hot longer. If you make sure hands are washed and dried I put my peeled wax back in to reuse. Love all your videos/sites!!! ❤

I had 3 hand surgeries and in physical therapy, they'd put my hand in hot wax paraffin before they'd sand blast it to desensitize it. It does something for circulation and scars according to my therapist🤷‍♀️

Everyone sells our info. We are in control what each app on our phones is allowed to access. I have them all off for everything these apps try to access. It isn’t just Temu, they all try to access stuff.

I used a wax warmer WAY BEFORE spa’s & Nail salons etc did ( I used it at physical therapy) I did have one myself , it was expensive but got it on sale 20+ yrs ago it helped my arthritis , helped my skin be baby soft since I’m a retired nurse & would wash my hands a gazillion times a day.
