I kinda grew up with a couple of base level Mercedes, they really are awesome cars..: just not when they age lol but we had them in the family back in the early 2000s, ML 350 and C240. They were smooth and had great road manners. Lasted till 2012 and the repairs got wildly expensive. I would love to get any of them with the M156 engine and bulletproof it lol

Also, for the screws in the front bumper, there’s a company called bumper plugs or something that makes paint matched plugs for those holes. My grandpa got them for his CTS-V and you can’t even see them from a few feet away. They make them in just about every color. Congrats again!

Benz tech here. Just typical oil leaks, occasional cam/timing issues. But depends on the year and which eng it has. Small complaints here and there. I don’t really see many v12s. But the v8s aren’t bad. ABC suspension faults are expected as well

Congrats man! I owned a 2014 CL65 AMG back in the day and man I’ll tell you that thing felt like an airplane taking off. It pulled SO SO hard yet so smooth. I went with a renntech tune on mine but didn’t mod past that. I sold it fairly quickly because I was young and it was too refined for me, now in my 40s I wish I still had that car.

2017 S63 Coupe owner here as well. First Merc I ever owned, got it during the lockdown. It feel like it is the most slept on and underrated car in the automative world. For me it is the perfect vehicle of performance, speed, comfort, luxury and even space. The trunk is huge. I can't believe ppl don't know about this car either. I'm also shocked at how well the digital dash has kept up and looks like it could have been released in 2023.

@@suk6806 Great car, unit a repair is needed. Costs a fortune if you only have it serviced by an MB dealer. Had new and Cert. pre owned MB's one owner low teen miles only. Never, had the heart to ever even consider an 4 owner one, especially without a pre-purchase inspection.

Also I do have a connect with a trustworthy 3rd party mechanic. Anything I had to do so far was 1/3rd of what dealership was asking for. So to your point, ppl who do not have options in the auto world will pay more to have dealer do anything on the car.

That thing is gorgeous! Wheels were definitely a risk attempt to start a trend. The drivetrain is like two 2JZs side by side, sharing the same crank! What a beast! After some slight turbo and valve train mods, a Borla exhaust, and a tune, she's breaking the 1,000 mark...💯

Nice Mike, I have a 10:32 2016 S63 AMG Black with the Bengal Red interior. One thing you should mention at some point is about the double pane windows. Obviously the car is amazing and has so many awesome features that you will be able to show on your videos. But when you’re inside with the double pane windows, it’s just amazing how you don’t hear hardly anything. Truly comfort and performance. It’s the best car I have ever on and I ever owned over 60 different cars in my lifetime. Congratulations again! Love your channel.

Those wheels actually have a very long history with Mercedes and especially AMG, so the PO wasn't entirely crazy. But if you wanted to give them away, I'd be happy to make the trip 😜 I don't know who, but someone makes an exhaust that makes these things sound like a pagani Zonda because the Zonda uses this same engine. Edit: The suspension is hydraulic. There's literally fluid in little reservoirs that cushions your ride. God help you if it breaks, but when it works it's perfect.

CONGRATS!!! In the video the drivers side quarter panel shows up as a prett different shade of silver than the door and rear bumper so it was probably repainted at some point. Who cares? That probably contributed to the great price and you are going to wrap it anyway, so ENJOY!!!

They are the proper dish style wheels that v12 benzes have been coming with since the late 1990s early 2000s w220 S class cars. Wife and I think all he needs to do is have them painted the lighter shade of AMG silver. Then it's "French chef's kiss."

Welcome back to the Benz Brethren. First dropping the mpg of my 2009 SL65 Roadster: 25.2 mpg highway on cruise control at 75mph or 120kph [the speed for maximum fuel efficiency]. Such a mystery how S-Class Coupes became extinct as proficient as they are dominating the interstates. Next stop recommended: RennTech. Nobody has more experience tuning AMG's M279.

FINALLY, you got the ultimate AMG!!! Once the new exhaust gets on it, the sound is going to be epic along with tune. I’d love to see the S65 with new turbos boosting it over 1000hp along with nicer wheels, lowing module, steering wheel. I cannot wait to see what color of shell will be.

To get the best sound it wouldn’t be smart to just boost it to 1000hp. A Brabus 900 Rocket level tune would sound so much better. That’s bored from 6.0L to 6.3L and drivetrain strenghtened and it sounds incredible.

Great video of this lost car, but, did you know that the time Mercedes AMG built this V-12 Flagship, it was the fastest sedan in the world, and every automaker was chasing to catch up.

Man that s a sick car. I love it. Personally the changes I d go for are: custom satin black wheels, the facelift front bumper, panamericana facelift grille, facelift rear diffuser, carbon accents, the facelift steering wheel with carbon accents, I d make the car satin black, dark tinted windows, all blacked out mafia style. And I d lower the car with a good custom air suspension setted up for every driving mode, add a good exhaust to make it pop and bang more and also tune the car to be more aggressive and more brutal, fast is already!

I special ordered a S550 Coupe in Selenite Gray with gray AMG interior and 8:32 with all options. Beautiful car, amazing to drive. Loved the fact that the windows are without pillars.
