I Bought The Cheapest 440i BMW Gran Coupe and Transformed it!

In this video I introduce you to my new 2018 BMW F36 440i xDrive Gran Coupe. I bought this for the channel to make content on a gen 1 B58.
I transform the look of the car by installing a rear diffuser, front lip spoiler, rear decklid spoiler, m style mirror cars and double slat gloss black kidney grilles.
This car has high mileage and I plan on tackling the common maintenance items for this engine.

I got mhds upgraded hpfp map, it’s nice, I also got xhp and tuned the launch to 11 21. Mg flasher is more aggressive. Bm3 is slower. I’m on 93 but they got e maps

On the LCI 440i they stiffened up the suspension which helps with feeling the road. I think the steering feel would be a big determining factor.

You can code f series cars, so trunk doest close so hard with a hit. I have done it with my f31. In trunk module search for segment amd there was about 10 values for closing speed and 10 values for opening speed. Just lower progressivly last 3 or 4 values and voila.

Thanks man, I wanted to get my hands on the N20 to cover the timing chain problems and turbo failure issues which I was able to do between two cars. So if another one comes my way that needs work I'd consider picking it up to see about tuning one etc.

i think the 440i msport bumper is one of the most aggressive but stylish bumpers bmw ever designed, even better than the 340i. i have the same car in SRB and im one of the few who find those black or cf front lips that cover the stock lip ugly, destroying that beautiful design, unless the car is black too. however yours doesn't do that, and even if it does, it's the same color.

A comparison of the 440 and e90 335 would be a great vid. I recently looked at 440s, they are a lot cheaper that I figured they would be so now I am intrigued. I know the b58 is a better engine HP wise but is it that much more reliable and. Heap to work on?

I just bought a 2019 440i with 33k miles Certified pre owned for 37k before tax with 2 year warranty bumper to bumper left. So I think I got a pretty good deal of you bought this for 27kish with 108k? Excited for the mods 💪

I have an F32 N55 (435 x drive) I had to replace the valve cover and gasket, oil cooler gasket , oil filter housing gasket and the oil filter cap due to leaking. It has 92k Miles and running well ! Oil pan gasket replacement will likely be next.

I think it looks good even at stock right height as it makes the car appear lower yes it's not so low that they'll scrape .
