The undesirable delay sound you mentioned is essentially the time stretch glitch of an analog delay pedal. Paul Gilbert frequently employed this technique in the past. Digital delays, on the other hand, tend to be much cleaner when adjusting. It appears that you do not fully appreciate the remarkable ability of Chinese pedals to emulate even the glitches and imperfections of analog pedals.

Effects units like this are meant for beginners who don't usually have the money to spend on a huge array of pedals from the word go. I had a similar Zoom unit when I started out' although that unit was a lot more limited than this one. All in all it's quite impressive for the money.

I bought the Matribox 2, and it’s *fantastic*. Best bang for buck ever. Very affordable because its last year’s model - but sounds as good as this year’s model, the Matribox 2 Pro.

Good taste in guitar. The way gibson used to make lp's. The heritage. Fine burst

Problem is you still have to depend on computers. They do have not bad effects.

Its like cellphone. It will be outdated next year. DIgitally, the sounds are close, but the "feel" is absent at any pricepoint.

The outtro should always include an extended jam using the preset you've created. Let's hear what it can do in context. Inspire us to practice.

I hate modelers. They sound just like they are ___'a Recording'__ They have no feel and worst still no balz. I am saving for a Friedman IR-D tube pre. I can use it anywhere you would use a Modeler. Much better to have one first place sound then a choice of dozens of sounds that are second best. I am being generous.

I disagree. My direct set up has tonnes of feel and recording in to logic it sounds far better than I could ever get mic'ing an amp in my home studio. They're not for everyone of course but audibly they nail them sounds perfectly for a home recording or even pro studio set up. My rig is the best sounding I have ever had and I've had several high end amps. I don't get the air moving element but the benefits are far greater than the losses for my use case

I use to agree with you until two things happened. I wanted to play live in stereo without lugging 3 amps around and the second is when I bought a Fractal.
@johnnysix71622 ай бұрын
"First place sound" is subjective, and all of the top tier modelers are easily able to create sounds that rival an actual amp. There's a reason alot of big name touring bands went to using Quad Cortex and Fractal.

I'm certain I could give you a few blind recordings and you wouldn't be able to tell which are modeled/profiled and which are live amps.
